Banks the Backdoor to China War

Interesting timing, no?

"US recommits to a changing Taiwan" by Associated Press | June 23, 2009

TAIPEI - ....

Taiwan's rapidly improving ties with longtime foe China are diminishing US influence.

Construction of the new $170 million American Institute in Taiwan - the de facto embassy since Washington switched recognition to Beijing 30 years ago - is meant to underscore continuing US interest in what was once a key ally, but has since become something of a strategic afterthought....

Nice to know you had $170 million to throw away, America.

In his 13 months in office Taiwan’s president, Ma Ying-jeou, has moved decisively to upgrade economic and political ties with China, lessening tensions across the Taiwan Strait, and mending a split that dates to the Chinese civil war 60 years ago.

Oh, NO WONDER the U.S. is concerned!

Can't have PEACE BREAKING OUT ANYWHERE!

That has raised questions of whether the US is being left behind in an area where it had a vital stake during the Cold War.

Oh, no, the PNAC PLAN failing?

Speaking at yesterday’s dedication, American Institute in Taiwan director Stephen Young emphasized the common values between the United States and Taiwan, while ignoring the delicate question of Taiwan’s China ties and its meaning for Washington.

Close Taiwan-American ties “are embodied in . . . our shared embrace of democracy and the free market,’’ he said.

And whose banks are funding our massive war bills and budget deficits?

Oh, China!

Since taking power last May, Ma has jettisoned the more China-wary policies of his predecessors and instead moved the economies ever closer together and mooted the possibility of a peace treaty between the sides.

Officially, Washington says that improving relations between Taiwan and China are a plus for the United States.

Which PROVES "official" Washington is a 100% LIAR!!!

If they were a plus, why the HAND-WRINGING ARTICLE?

Anyway, we DON'T NEED TAIWAN to START a WAR!

WASHINGTON - US Trade Representative Ron Kirk is expected to launch a WTO case against China today when he holds a news conference regarding US-China trade.

Kirk’s office gave no details in announcing the morning session with reporters. But industry sources said they expected the United States and the European Union would both announce a World Trade Organization case against China over its export restrictions on raw materials.

Well, they are THEIR MATERIALS so WHY CAN'T THEY KEEP 'EM?!

Answer: GLOBALISTS want EVERYTHING for THEMSELVES!!!!

The expected action by the United States and the EU follows their failure to persuade China to reduce its export tariffs and raise quotas on materials such as zinc, tin, tungsten, and yellow phosphorous.

Think this had something to do with it?

The first step would be for Brussels and Washington to formally request consultations with Beijing. If these talks fail, the next step would be to request that a WTO panel hear the complaint, a step that can take years.

No war until then, right?

Western governments say resource-hungry China has continued to restrict exports of raw materials used in steel, semiconductors, aircraft, and other products despite Beijing’s pledge to eliminate taxes and charges on exports when it joined the WTO in 2001.

They say these quotas and taxes hurt European and US companies while giving Chinese companies an unfair advantage.

Didn't the Chinese complain about our favoritism towards Israel? Just asking.

The export curbs drive down China’s domestic raw materials costs at the expense of producers elsewhere in the world.

Again, YOUR RESOURCES or YOUR MONEY is NOT YOURS -- it is the GLOBALISTS think it is THEIRS!!!

But taking action at the WTO is expected to further damage already brittle trade relations with China.

Show me the enemy, show me the way!

Are you RAEDY for a WAR with CHINA and the DESTRUCTION of YOUR DOLLAR when CHINA DUMPS 'EM, America?
