A Stimulooting Success Story

You need one, don't you, America?

Are you not glad that $787 BILLION (at interest) was used to FURTHER TYRANNY built upon lies and the COMPANIES that PROFIT from such, America?

"A stimulating vision; It’s under fire from the right in Washington, but the federal stimulus plan has been a blessing for one local technology firm and many it does business with: Jobs saved, jobs created, and a glimmer of hope restored" by Robert Gavin, Globe Staff | March 7, 2010

HANSON - Reveal Imaging Technologies Inc., a Bedford firm that has cranked up production of airport security equipment since winning $77 million in federal stimulus contracts last spring....

Advanced scanning machines. Winding through a dozen states, this money trail illustrates how federal stimulus spending put a floor under a crashing economy and helped provide a platform for recovery. It also shows that the impact of the $787 billion stimulus can often be subtle, resulting not in a burst of employment, but rather, in the quiet preservation of jobs.

I'm SICK of this bulls***er, so I'm moving on, sorry.

Sit down, Glob.

French Packaging Services, a Newton firm that crates high-tech equipment for shipping, is an example. The $217,000 in work from Reveal came as virtually every other customer was cutting shipments in the face of the worsening downturn, said Brian French, the company president. Even with Reveal’s business, revenues at French Packaging fell about 12 percent last year.

“That job saved me from laying people off,’’ said French, who otherwise might have cut three of his 25 workers. “This recession was a real doozy because every area of the economy was hit at the same time.’’

Analysts are still arguing about the size, composition, and effectiveness of the stimulus, but most independent economists agree the massive spending package helped brake an economy in freefall.

Yeah, the LIES can HELP him SAY THAT!

Setting AP Straight on the Stimulus

Every dollar spent = one job; that is how they are spinning it now.

US employers were slashing more than 700,000 jobs a month when President Obama signed the bill in February 2009. Job losses slowed to an average of 31,000 a month in the first two months of this year.

The JOB LOSSES have NEVER STOPPED despite what the lying MSM and government have claimed.

In AmeriKa?

Without the stimulus, said Nariman Behravesh, chief economist at IHS Global Insight in Lexington, 3 million more Americans would be out of work and the national unemployment rate, just below 10 percent, would be 12 percent - or higher.

How can they know that?

Just farting in the wind.

“There is no doubt that it had an impact,’’ Behravesh said. “When there is a shortfall in private sector demand, there is a role for government to step in and fill the gap.’’

By TAKING MONEY OUT of the PRIVATE SECTOR with HIGHER and HIGHER TAXES for WARS BASED on LIES and BONUS PAYMENTS to BANKS?

Since the federal government stepped in, Reveal has boomed. Founded seven years ago, Reveal developed new scanning technology to build smaller, less expensive, and more reliable equipment to detect explosives in checked luggage. The company had been shipping about 100 machines a year to the US Transportation Security Administration, which oversees airport safety; now it’s racing to deliver 200 by the end of this summer. Each machine costs about $350,000.

Ye$, I DID ju$t hear a cui bono CHA-CHING, didn't you?!

As a result, Reveal has grown to 130 employees from about 90, and has at least 15 openings. The company more than doubled the size of its facilities, moving into a 90,000-square-foot building that had been vacant for seven years. At the nearby Rebecca’s Cafe, general manager Michael Davis estimated sales at the restaurant, which employs three, have jumped as much as 15 percent since Reveal arrived in the spring. “It’s been quite a boost,’’ said Davis.

Ain't TYRANNY GREAT, AmeriKan taxpayers?

Nothing like ENSLAVING YOURSELF with a YOKE YOU FUNDED, 'eh?

Oh, wait, Dancing with the Stars is on....

Reveal’s expansion was more than that for Tim Kirk, 34, of Manchester, who had been laid off from another imaging firm at the end of 2008. A father of two, Kirk was out of work for six months and struggling to keep up with his mortgage when Reveal hired him as a product manager in June.

“It was a huge financial relief,’’ Kirk said. “It enabled us to stay in our home.’’

Agenda-pushing Globe will always find a kernel of corn in the millions of turds.

For Reveal’s chief executive, Michael Ellenbogen, the stimulus money is not only generating jobs, but also laying the groundwork for future expansion....

“Our ability to invest in new technology is directly related to these new orders,’’ Ellenbogen said. “They’ve accelerated the growth that allows us to develop the next generation of products.’’

Stimulus money to help build healthier Hub" by Martin Finucane, Globe Staff | March 20, 2010

Boston has received $12.5 million in federal stimulus funding for a sweeping new effort to combat obesity and reduce smoking, Mayor Thomas M. Menino said yesterday....

I love combating a problem that doesn't exist (at least around here; either the kids are anorexic or bulimic because there are not that many fatties in the poorest county in the state).

Yeah, they look it to me.

The money will go toward, among other things, creating additional space for community gardens, expanding bike-share programs, and beefing up antismoking campaigns.

According to the city, data analyzed by the Boston Public Health Commission show that 32 percent of black adults and 30 percent of Latino adults in Boston were obese in 2008, compared with 17 percent of white adults.

Oh, that must be the reason the hayseeds are so skinny and small out here.

Boston Public Health Commission data on tobacco also show a concentration of tobacco dealers in low-income minority neighborhoods, especially Dorchester, Roxbury, and East Boston.

It is called preying on people.

“The point of this work is to increase our structural capacity and change attitudes in ways that afford all Boston residents the opportunity to live healthy lives, whether that’s drinking less soda, biking or walking to work or school, or living in a smoke-free residence,’’ Barbara Ferrer, executive director of the Boston Public Health Commission, said in a statement.

They ADMIT it is ALL ABOUT AGENDA-PUSHING!
