Maryland MD

First something to make you sick.

"Md. prisoner linked to 1995 church rape in Weymouth; Faces indictment on DNA evidence" by L. Finch, Globe Correspondent  |  September 22, 2010

A former Weymouth man, already behind bars in Maryland on similar charges, was indicted yesterday after DNA evidence linked him to the rape of a teenage girl inside a church rectory 15 years ago, the Norfolk district attorney’s office said.

William Edward Burton III, 41, is already serving life in prison in Maryland for the attempted murder, rape, sodomy, and kidnapping of a woman last year....

After his convictions in Maryland, Burton’s DNA was added to a national database, against which authorities in Massachusetts compared DNA evidence from a rape kit collected at the time of the Weymouth attack....

More tyranny is good stuff.

Time to get to the hospital:

"Man shoots doctor, kills self and mother at Johns Hopkins; Assailant upset by prognosis; physician OK" by Alex Dominguez, Associated Press  |  September 17, 2010

BALTIMORE — A man who became distraught as he was being briefed on his mother’s condition by a surgeon at Johns Hopkins Hospital pulled a gun and shot the doctor yesterday, then killed his mother and himself in her room at the world-famous medical center, police said....

How come they never choose stinking war criminals?

Harry Koffenberger, vice president of security, said the hospital uses handheld metal detectors....

The hospital will review procedures and look again at the use of metal detectors, he said....

Yeah, more tyranny will $olve the problem.

I mean, government has done such a great job!

"EPA cracks down on Chesapeake pollution; Warns five states to upgrade their clean-up plans" by David A. Fahrenthold, Washington Post  |  September 25, 2010

WASHINGTON — Federal officials began a historic crackdown on pollution in the Chesapeake Bay yesterday, threatening to punish five mid-Atlantic states with rules that could raise sewer bills and put new conditions on construction....

The deadline has been moved to 2025, but the EPA is already threatening states....

FASCISM!

Yesterday, the agency went after Virginia, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Delaware, and New York, which together account for more than 70 percent of the pollution that causes “dead zones’’ in the bay....

Of course, BP can KILL the GULF and the GOVERNMENT LIES for THEM!

It is too early to tell how this might translate into increased property taxes or new rules on farms. But it is clear that by squeezing states and calculating that they will squeeze homeowners and farmers in turn, the administration is taking a significant political risk

Bankrupt federal government grabbing for every f***ing cent it can get its grubby mitts on it.

In an era when environmentalism seems to be losing steam, it is betting that residents of the Chesapeake region care enough to pay the full cost of saving the bay....

Maybe some other time in history, but not now.

I'm sick of the lies when POLLUTION was the REAL THREAT all along!!

The Chesapeake’s most problematic pollutants, nitrogen and phosphorus, wash downstream in treated sewage, fertilizer, and animal manure. In the water, they fuel algae blooms, which suck out the oxygen that fish, crabs, and oysters need to breathe.

Oh, so it is GOVERNMENT and INDUSTRY that are RESPONSIBLE for the PROBLEMS, huh?

Yeah, but they gonna FIX IT!

Federal and state governments have been trying to fix these problems since 1983. They have spent more than $5 billion, but the cleanup evolved into an odd kind of cordial failure....

That's government for you.
