"A Worcester police officer charged with pushing and throwing an ex-girlfriend has been released on $500 bail after pleading not guilty to domestic assault charges. The Worcester Telegram & Gazette reported that Officer Joseph Vigliotti was arraigned Monday following his arrest Sunday. Authorities allege that Vigliotti, 42, a 13-year member of the department, pushed, grabbed, and “bodily threw” the woman during an argument. The woman had scratches and red marks on the back of her neck, legs, and arms. According to court documents, the couple had a yearlong relationship and had once lived together. Vigliotti and his lawyer, Jaclyn Greenhalgh,
refused to comment after the arraignment. "
