But only where Muslims are concerned!
"Cameron attacks Britain’s policy on multiculturalism; Prime minister says system helps extremism thrive" by John F. Burns, New York Times / February 6, 2011
LONDON — Faced with growing alarm about Islamic militants who have made Britain one of Europe’s most active bases for terrorist plots, Prime Minister David Cameron has mounted an attack on the country’s decades-old policy of “multiculturalism,’’ saying it has encouraged “segregated communities’’ where Islamic extremism can thrive.
I notice it's okay if Jews do it.
Speaking at a security conference in Munich yesterday, Cameron condemned what he called the “hands-off tolerance’’ in Britain and other European nations that had encouraged Muslims and other immigrant groups “to live separate lives, apart from each other and the mainstream.’’
He said that the policy had allowed Islamic militants leeway to radicalize young Muslims, some of whom went on to “the next level’’ by becoming terrorists, and that Europe could not defeat terrorism “simply by the actions we take outside our borders,’’ with such military actions as the war in Afghanistan.
“Europe needs to wake up to what is happening in our own countries,’’ he said. “We have to get to the root of the problem.’’
Oh, you mean the FALSE-FLAG TERRORISM practiced by WESTERN INTELLIGENCE AGENCIES?
In what aides described as one of the most important speeches in the nine months since he became prime minister, Cameron said the multiculturalism policy — one espoused by British governments since the 1960s, based on the principle of the right of all groups in Britain to live by their traditional values — had failed to promote a sense of common identity centered on values of human rights, democracy, social integration, and equality before the law.
This from the same nation that invaded Iraq over lies, participated in torture, and is currently occupying Afghanistan?
Just checking.
Similar warnings about multiculturalism have been sounded by Chancellor Angela Merkel of Germany and by President Nicolas Sarkozy of France. But, if anything, Cameron went further.
Translation: We all hue to the Zionist line.
He called on European governments to practice “a lot less of the passive tolerance of recent years and much more active, muscular liberalism,’’ and said Britain would no longer give official patronage to Muslim groups that had been “showered with public money despite doing little to combat terrorism.’’
So which country are you following the U.S. into next?
Perhaps most controversially, he called for an end to a double standard that had tolerated the propagation of radical views among nonwhite groups that would be suppressed if they involved radical groups among whites.
He's going to shut down the news media?
Muslim groups in Britain were quick to condemn the speech....
Oh, they are always complaining about something.
Muslims numbers have been estimated in some recent surveys at 2.5 million in Britain’s population of 60 million.
Making a Muslim mountain over a molehill again.
Britain’s domestic intelligence service, MI5, has said that as many as 2,000 Muslims in Britain are involved in terrorist cells, and that it tracks dozens of potential terrorist plots at any one time.
Ever hear of Mr. Aswat or Mr. Khan, readers?

Yeah, I guess they would know how many plots they are juggling.
The prime minister pointed to several steps the government planned that would tackle the rise of extremism. Among these, he said, would be barring “preachers of hate’’ from visiting Britain to speak in mosques and community centers; stopping Muslim groups that propagate views hostile to values of gender equality, democracy and human rights “from reaching people in publicly funded institutions like universities and prisons’’; and cutting off government support for such groups.
But killing them is okay.

"European law hampers terror fight, Briton says" by Associated Press / February 4, 2011
LONDON — European rules on human rights that prevent some foreign terrorism suspects from being deported to their homelands are creating a “safe haven’’ for extremists in Britain, Britain’s antiterrorism watchdog said yesterday....

Then why ease up?
"UK proposes fewer limits on unjailed terrorism suspects; Changes intended to meet criticism by rights activists" by John F. Burns, New York Times / January 27, 2011
LONDON — Britain has a major terrorism problem, with an extensive network of Al Qaeda-linked extremists spread across [the country]. Its security services run dozens of investigations at any given time into possible attacks.
Yeah, well, which "Al-CIA-Duh" would that be, huh?
The made-up "Al-CIA-Duh?"
Or the "Al-CIA-Duh" CREATION for the COURTROOM!?
It has found, under two governments, that some suspects are beyond effective prosecution, or deportation, leaving it to hold some indefinitely under “control orders’’ — an extended version of house arrest.
Yesterday, such legal dilemmas came into sharp focus when the government of Prime Minister David Cameron unveiled new measures easing some limits on terrorism suspects in the hope of at least partly meeting the objections of human rights activists who have compared the existing system to the repressive practices of many of the world’s authoritarian governments.
Yeah, but it is OKAY if WE DO IT in the "free" West.
The detention system subjects suspects to curfews that can run for 16 hours a day, forbid them access to cellphones and computers, and require them to wear electronic tagging devices that are monitored by the police....
Suspects could use cellphones and home computers, as long as they provided the police with their passwords. The government would also increase, by $30 million, the budget for physical and electronic surveillance....
As they are SLASHING SERVICES like HEALTH and EDUCATION!
All for a GOVERNMENT-CREATED, DIRECTED, and FUNDED "threat."

Courts a rubber stamp just like here:
"Judge rules terror suspect can be sent to US" by Associated Press / January 22, 2011
LONDON — A British court yesterday approved the extradition of a terror suspect wanted in the United States over an alleged Al Qaeda plot to detonate explosives aboard the New York City subway system.
Judge Quentin Purdy ruled that Abid Naseer, 24, a native Pakistani, can be sent to the United States to stand trial in New York for his alleged role in a terror campaign that would have struck at targets in Britain, Norway, and the United States.
Britain’s home secretary now has the final decision about whether to endorse the extradition, but Naseer’s lawyer, Ben Cooper, said his client will appeal yesterday’s decision.
Federal prosecutors in Brooklyn said they aim to prove that Naseer collected bomb ingredients, conducted reconnaissance, and was in frequent contact with other Al Qaeda operatives as part of a foiled New York plot and a second suspected plot to bomb a busy shopping area in the northern English city of Manchester.
If convicted in the United States, he would face a maximum penalty of life in prison.
Naseer was one of 12 people arrested in a counterterrorism operation in April 2009, but all were subsequently released without charge. They were ordered to leave Britain, but Naseer escaped deportation to Pakistan after a judge ruled it was likely he would be mistreated if he were sent home.
Naseer was arrested again in July at the request of the prosecutors in Brooklyn, where a federal indictment names him as a codefendant of Adis Medunjanin.
US authorities allege Medunjanin and former high school friends Najibullah Zazi and Zarein Ahmedzay traveled to Pakistan in 2008 to seek terror training from Al Qaeda.
Zazi, an airport van driver from Colorado, admitted in a guilty plea that once back from Pakistan he tested peroxide-based explosive materials in a makeshift lab in Denver in fall 2009 before traveling by car to New York to carry out the scheme.
Even though the government never found any bomb-making material.
Don't believe me?
Do a quick tour of my Zazi file.
Authorities said Medunjanin and Ahmedzay agreed to join Zazi in three coordinated suicide bombings on Manhattan subway lines during rush hour near the eighth anniversary of the Sept. 11 terror attacks.
The plot was disrupted when police stopped Zazi’s car as it entered New York.
At what they called a "routine drug checkpoint."
They then allowed the car to continue on to an apartment where the FBI then had it confiscated and towed(?).
Like Zazi, Ahmedzay has pleaded guilty. Medunjanin is fighting the charges.
After the government tortured him and threatened his parents.
