Another Patz Patsy?

Amazing how the cold case has taken up so much attention from law enforcement.

PHILADELPHIA — A man long considered the prime suspect in the disappearance of a New York City boy more than three decades ago was released from a Pennsylvania prison on Wednesday, then immediately arrested on a Megan’s Law violation after providing an outdated address of where he would be residing, state police said.

Jose Antonio Ramos was immediately taken into custody following his release from a northeastern Pennsylvania prison where he spent more than 20 years for molesting children because he failed to provide accurate information as required of sex offenders, according to state police.

Too bad he wasn't a ma$$ media reporter. They get away with that all the time.

Pennsylvania State Police Lieutenant Richard Krawetz said Ramos gave an address of a relative from more than 30 years ago and, while the address exists, the relative hasn’t lived there for years, he said.

‘‘When he walked out of the main gate, he was taken into custody by troopers,’’ he said.

Ramos had long been suspected in the disappearance of 6-year-old Etan Patz, who vanished May 25, 1979, after leaving his Manhattan home to go to a bus stop two blocks away. It was the first time the boy’s parents had let him go off to school alone.

Ramos had been dating the boy’s baby-sitter and later served the time in Pennsylvania for molesting two other boys.

Earlier this year, a new suspect named Pedro Hernandez was charged with Etan’s murder after police said he confessed. His lawyer, Harvey Fishbein, has said Hernandez is mentally ill, and authorities have not cited any additional evidence to implicate him beyond his own admission.

But they still wanted to charge him! They don't care about truth and justice, they only care about winning and closing a case.

How is he doing, btw?

Etan’s disappearance prompted a massive search that stretched as far as Israel and spawned the national movement to publicize the cases of missing children.

And you thought I was only being anti-semitic when I keep saying the whole thing is owned by and caters to you-know-whos.

Sad thing is, the child pornography and prostitution rings are run by intelligence agencies and Jewish mafia to service sick elite tastes. That's why they are so pervasive. U.N. also involved, which is why you never want to see a peace-keeper mission coming if you are an African.

The blond, blue-eyed boy’s photo was among the first put on milk cartons, and his case turned May 25 into National Missing Children’s Day....

And all the missing children before or since?

Ramos was declared responsible for Etan’s death in a civil court in 2004, but the Manhattan district attorney’s office has said there wasn’t enough evidence to charge him criminally. Ramos has denied any involvement in Etan’s disappearance.

Prosecutors are expected this month to announce whether they believe there’s evidence enough to continue pursuing a case against Hernandez, who worked at a convenience store near Etan’s home when the boy disappeared and told police he strangled the boy and stuffed his body in a trash bag.

Except he denies it.

"Man who confessed to killing Etan Patz indicted" by Russ Buettner  |  New York Times, November 15, 2012

NEW YORK — A grand jury in Manhattan indicted a man on Wednesday who confessed to killing Etan Patz, a 6-year-old, in 1979, prosecutors said.

WTF? They indicted the guy who is mentally ill, suffers hallucinations, and authorities have not cited any additional evidence to implicate him beyond his own admission?

Pedro Hernandez was indicted on murder in the second degree and kidnapping in the first degree; he is expected to appear in court on Thursday.

“This indictment is the outcome of a lengthy and deliberative process, involving months of factual investigation and legal analysis,’’ said a spokeswoman for the Manhattan district attorney.

Uh-huh.

The trial still figures to be challenging. Hernandez’s lawyer, Harvey Fishbein, has said that Hernandez has a long history of mental illness that includes diagnoses of schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, with visual and auditory hallucinations. His mental health history could be used to raise doubts about the reliability of his confession.

 Ya' think?

“The indictment is based solely on statements allegedly made by my client, who has, in the past, been repeatedly diagnosed as suffering from schizophrenia, and who has, over the last six months, been found to suffer from schizotypal personality disorder, which is characterized by, among other things, unusual perceptual experiences, commonly referred to as hallucinations,’’ Fishbein said in a statement.

Fishbein added that Hernandez has an IQ in the ‘‘borderline-to-mild mental retardation range.’’

Then in all likelihood, not him.

Nonetheless, prosecutors were confident that the confession would stand up.

WTF? What do you do with SELF-DELUSION prosecutors?
