Shining Light on Brockton Gangs

"Spate of slayings puts Brockton on edge" by Brian Ballou  |  Globe Staff, May 17, 2013

BROCKTON — Police are increasing daytime walking beats and other patrols in some areas of the city in response to six homicides this year — the same number as in all of 2012 — most of them occurring during the day.

“We’ll be deploying more units during the daytime, and we have to go where the violence is,” said Police Chief Emanuel Gomes, referring to the neighborhoods ringing the downtown area.

On Tuesday afternoon, police found the latest victim, 45-year-old Charles Evans, unresponsive at 227 Belmont St., suffering from gunshot wounds to his chest.

Gomes said that his department, in collaboration with State Police, has been effective in curbing late-night violence fueled by drugs and gang activity, and that those efforts have apparently pushed violent activity into the daytime....

NEXT DAY UPDATE:

"Trial starts in Brockton double slaying, rape" by Brian Ballou  |  Globe Staff, May 18, 2013

BROCKTON — The three victims, all bleeding from gunshot wounds, were several yards apart on Clinton Street, two of them not breathing and the other slipping into unconsciousness, witnesses said Friday during the Keith Luke double murder trial in Brockton Superior Court.

Luke, 22, a self-described neo-Nazi skinhead, is facing life in prison in the fatal shooting of 20-year-old Selma Goncalves and 72-year-old Arlindo DePina Goncalves and in the rape and shooting of Goncalves’s 22-year-old sister on Jan. 21, 2009. The Globe is not identifying the sister because she allegedly is the victim of a sexual assault. The male victim was not related to Selma Goncalves.

Luke allegedly targeted minorities; all three victims are of Cape Verdean descent. He stockpiled ammunition and other items, prosecutors say, to carry out the rampage that gripped the city on that January day....

Just a true believer(?) or something more?

All right, let's get a couple of things straight:

When it comes to the white supremacist groups, it's been known that those have been intelligence agency operations since the 1960s. And who could ever forget Hal Turner, huh?

The second thing is this whole tar-brush of the term Nazi (same as anti-semite  it seems) occurring in the Jewish-dominated media and ejoukashunal systems of AmeriKa. While not endorsing the party or its politics, one must recognize it was more nationalist than fascist. Fascism is what we have now, the total melding of corporate and government to the point where government is serving them and not the people. It really should come as no surprise that the same people called out by the infamous man with a mustache (and dumped private central banking, don't forget that. Very important, and never discussed in the history books) would be demonized by the very people that then used the hoax and lie at worst, distortion at best, that they created in the aftermath to advance there agenda, although maybe there is still hope

The truth is, I get tired of typing and addressing these same old issues day after day. I oppose capital punishment and oppose the killing of anyone, even the bankster looters and war criminals. Give 'em a Gitmo, that's it.
