Japan Makes AmeriKan Media Melt Down

"Pentagon Cover-up of Data on Fukushima Disaster

The Japan Times reports the Pentagon will send an unmanned Global Hawk high-altitude reconnaissance aircraft over the deteriorating Fukushima nuclear complex today....

The flight is basically unnecessary and represents PR spin. Both the Pentagon and the Japanese government know full well the severity of the situation at the Fukushima plant and they are not releasing this information to either the Japanese or American people....

Recall the EPA dispensing misleading information following the false flag attacks of September 11, 2001, telling New Yorkers it was safe to breathe the air when reliable information on air quality was not available.

The Pentagon and the government know full well the extent of this unprecedented disaster — and it is far worse then they are telling us. They are not about to level with the American people, who will find out later this week and in the weeks ahead how severe and life threatening the situation is.

As we reported over the weekend, the CIA’s USAID was dispatched to micromanage the release and spin of information on the disaster. Yoichi Shimatsu, the former editor of the Japan Times Weekly, told CCTV a large scale cover-up is unfolding....

Here is your cover-up, dear readers:

"Obama says US will stand by ally; Navy ship detects radiation offshore" by Associated Press / March 15, 2011

WASHINGTON —The Navy reported that several US ships involved in the relief effort had to be moved away from the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant after officials found out that the ships and 17 helicopter crew members had been exposed to low levels of radiation....

US officials said the design of the Japanese reactors and the distance across the Pacific Ocean mean there is little probability of harmful levels of radiation reaching the United States, including Hawaii or US territories....

What a LIE!!!!!!

And then they DID IT AGAIN!

"Nuclear crisis worsening, US says; Radiation called ‘extremely high’; all work at plant could be halted" by David E. Sanger, Matthew L. Wald, and Hiroko Tabuchi, New York Times / March 17, 2011

WASHINGTON — Gregory Jaczko’s most startling assertion was that there was now little or no water in the pool storing spent nuclear fuel at the No. 4 reactor of the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station, leaving fuel rods exposed and bleeding radiation into the atmosphere....

Occurring as I type, dear reader.

In the worst case, specialists say, workers could be forced to vacate the plant altogether and the fuel rods in reactors and spent fuel pools would be left to melt down, leading to much larger releases of radioactive materials.

That is where we are headed, folks.

While radiation levels at the plant have varied tremendously, Jaczko said that the peak levels reported there “would be lethal within a fairly short period of time.’’

He added that another spent fuel pool, at Reactor No. 3, may also be losing water and could soon be in the same condition....

Related: For workers at reactor, unthinkable risk

While maps of the plume of radiation being given off by the plant show that an elongated cloud will stretch across the Pacific, American officials said it would be so dissipated by the time it reached the West Coast of the United States it would not pose a health threat.

This is the SAME GOVERNMENT that LIED about PLUMES of OIL in the GULF, right?

Yeah, NO DANGER from the RADIOACTIVE CLOUD that is GROWING, Americans!

American officials were careful to offer no public comparisons to past nuclear accidents when discussing the Fukushima disaster. But clearly the crisis in Japan already far outstrips what happened at Three Mile Island in Pennsylvania....

The spent fuel pools can be even more dangerous than the active fuel rods, as they are not contained in thick steel containers like the reactor core. As they are exposed to air, the zirconium metal cladding on the rods can catch fire, and a deadly mix of radioactive elements can spew into the atmosphere. The most concern surrounds Cesium-137, which has a half-life of 30 years and can get into food supplies or be inhaled....

Isn't the PACIFIC OCEAN a HUGE FOOD SOURCE?

And now it is to be SPOILED like the GULF?

What is being obscured by the nuclear cloud:

"No signs of life in remote villages; Further horror as thousands of bodies wash up along devastated coastline" by Jay Alabaster and Todd Pitman, Associated Press / March 15, 2011

TAGAJO, Japan — Thousands of bodies washed up along Japan’s coastline yesterday, overwhelming crematoriums and adding to the spiraling humanitarian, economic, and nuclear crisis after the massive earthquake and tsunami.

Millions of people faced a fourth night without water, food, or heat in near-freezing temperatures along the northeast coast devastated by Friday’s disasters. As aftershocks and a nuclear reactor emergency continued, the stock market plunged over the likelihood of huge losses by Japanese industries.

The tsunami that barreled into northeast Japan on Friday was so ruinous that essentially no one was left to save when search-and-rescue teams finally reached several remote villages yesterday.

As bodies washed ashore, firefighters were digging others out of the debris using pickaxes and chain saws. Funeral homes and crematoriums are overwhelmed, and officials have run out of body bags and coffins....

Initial estimates put rebuilding and repair costs in the tens of billions of dollars, costs that would likely add to Japan’s massive public debt, which, at 200 percent of gross domestic product, is the biggest among industrialized nations.

That should make the banker's happy.

Barrie Cornes, an insurance analyst at Panmure Gordon & Co. in London, warned that with the tsunami bill added in, the cost to the global insurance industry could rise above $60 billion dollars, which would make it the most expensive disaster after Hurricane Katrina....

Oh, the poor accumulators of capital gonna have to pay out now, awwww!
