Honestly, reading the Globe every day feels like the movie.
"Groundhog doesn’t see his shadow
PUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. — An end to winter’s bitter cold will come soon, according to Pennsylvania’s famous groundhog. After a recent stretch of weather that’s included temperatures well below freezing as well as record warmth, tornadoes in the South and Midwest and torrential rains in the mid-Atlantic, Punxsutawney Phil emerged from his lair Saturday but didn’t see his shadow. Legend has it that if the rodent sees his shadow on Feb. 2, winter will last six more weeks. But if he doesn’t see his shadow, spring will come early."

I think I found her in a photograph:
"SHADOWY FIGURE -- Punxsutawney Phil did not see his shadow when he emerged in Pennsylvania, Saturday, but Ms. G the groundhog (above) did see her shadow at the Drumlin Farm Wildlife Sanctuary in Lincoln. So depending on who you believe, spring may or may not be far away (Boston Globe February 3 2013)."

Seems that way in my Globe.
With all due respect to the rodent, I'm not calling the forecast based on that. I'll trust Farmer's on that one. They have been right the last couple of years, too.
