"Teen taken from home in invasion" by Martin Finucane | Globe Staff, May 15, 2013
Boston police are looking for four suspects in an armed home invasion this morning in Roxbury that led to a 16-year-old girl being briefly kidnapped.
A female caller reported at about 1:25 a.m. that four masked male suspects wearing hooded sweatshirts had forced their way into her home on New Whitney Street, kidnapped her daughter, and stolen a TV, a Sony Playstation, and her white Toyota Sienna van.
Police said that at 2:07 a.m., the 16-year-old girl was found near a Dunkin’ Donuts on Adams Street in Dorchester, her wrists still tied with wire.
Officers recovered the car and the stolen TV on Chesterton Street in Roxbury.
Officers canvassed the area for the four suspects and looked for a small black sedan the girl reported being transferred to, but the suspects were not found.
The suspects were described as four black males, three of them thin, the fourth heavy and short. Two of the suspects spoke Spanish and two spoke another language, Cape Verdean, the mother told police.
