Leblanc Pleads Not Guilty

"Auburn man pleads not guilty to causing accident

An Auburn man charged with being drunk when his vehicle rear-ended a bread delivery truck on Interstate 290, killing the driver, has pleaded not guilty. The Telegram & Gazette reported that at his arraignment Tuesday in Worcester Superior Court, Keith Leblanc Jr. was allowed to remain free on previously posted bail of $12,500, with GPS monitoring. Leblanc, 26, faces charges including manslaughter by motor vehicle and motor vehicle homicide while under the influence of alcohol. Police said the driver struck the truck at about 4:30 a.m. Nov. 11, killing Duane Race, 45, of Putnam, Conn. The vehicle that struck the truck did not stop. Police said they followed a trail of leaking automotive fluids to Leblanc’s home."
