Cape Cod's Clark to be Touched by a Jury

"Cape Cod woman’s fraud case in hands of jury

A jury in the trial of a Barnstable woman charged with stealing tens of thousands of dollars from a charity she founded to help families affected by tragedy has started deliberating. Barnstable Superior Court jurors began weighing the case of Gina Clark, 42, Tuesday after three weeks of testimony. Prosecutors said that between 2007 and 2010, Clark, through her now-defunct charity Touched By Angels Inc., took in tens of thousands of dollars in donations while distributing only a small portion to the victims. The prosecutor said she “knowingly and intentionally’’ deceived families she was supposed to help."
