Slow Saturday Special: U.S. Troops Occupy Venezuela

That's the opinion of some:

Occupy Caracas

We are at war with Venezuela, though:

"Citing abuses, US imposes ban on Venezuelan officials" by Hannah Dreier and Bradley Klapper | Associated Press   July 31, 2014

CARACAS — Amid escalating tensions with Venezuela, the US State Department on Wednesday announced a travel ban for officials of the socialist government who, the department said, committed human rights abuses during a crackdown on opposition protests.

I hope they stop shipping us oil, but that would only hurt the poor and give the AmeriKan government an excuse to bomb and invade.

In imposing the sanctions, the strongest action yet by the United States against the South American country, the State Department jumped ahead of Congress, which has been pondering a similar move since the height of the protests in March.

The action targets 24 high-ranking Venezuelan officials, including Cabinet members, senior judiciary members, and high-ranking military, police, and national guard members, according to congressional aides who spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak on the matter.

In unveiling the sanctions, the department cited the months-long street protest movement that left dozens of people dead this year and said the Venezuelan government had responded in many instances with ‘‘arbitrary detentions and excessive use of force.’’

Only EUSrael can do those things!

So when are the sanctions on Israeli officials coming down?

Just blowing bubblews of love, readers:

"The most recent bad example comes from the online dating site OKCupid, which revealed that it experimented with its users and in one instance arbitrarily matched people who were not compatible, telling the would-be partners that the opposite was true. In explaining this absurd-bordering-on-abusive test, the company said it only wanted to explore the power of suggestion — that is, whether vulnerable people might accept even an incompatible partner if a dating site put them together. In the process, OKCupid betrayed its customers....

The lying newspaper is a fine one to talk!
