Sunday Globe Special: Pakistan's Nobel Princess

That would be Benazir Bhutto, right?

"Pakistan teen traversed rough road to Nobel Prize" by Danica Kirka | Associated Press   October 12, 2014

BIRMINGHAM, England — While being awarded a Nobel Prize is bound to change anyone’s life, the future of Malala Yousafzai had already changed irrevocably about age 11, when she began anonymously blogging in support of educating girls in Pakistan’s religiously conservative Swat Valley.

Her outspokenness conflicted not only with the stern form of Islam enforced by the Taliban but also with Pakistani social and religious mores, particularly those that prevailed in more rural areas, where girls are often secluded in their homes.

The Pakistani teenager, who was shot in the head by the Taliban in 2012 for daring to want an education just like the boys, was named a joint recipient of the peace prize Friday along with Indian children’s rights activist Kailash Satyarthi.

It's worthless seeing as Obummer got one. Sorry.

Her case won worldwide recognition, and the teen, now 17, became a symbol for the struggle for women’s rights in Pakistan.

Just get out of the way of the next drone strike, will ya?

In an indication of her reach, she spoke before the United Nations and made the shortlist for Time magazine’s ‘‘Person of the Year’’ for 2012.

She's an icon

Isn't that blasphemy?

After receiving specialized brain trauma care in Britain, she regained her sight and her voice, and within months was able to walk out of the hospital.

I hate to say it, but I'm starting to smell a staged and scripted agenda-pushing hoax.

She resumed her education and kept campaigning for the rights of children to go to school — meeting President Obama, attending rights conferences, becoming the keynote speaker at corporate events in London. She began rubbing elbows with people who had the power and the money to help her realize her dreams.

A poster child, huh? Wow.

Graves of Gazans not go over as well, huh?

‘‘Malala is an inspiration for the many women in Afghanistan and Pakistan who have been fighting for their rights and struggling against the misogynous policies of the Taliban and local warlords,’’ said David Cortright, a professor at the University of Notre Dame.

She married yet?

Btw, you ladies need help? Dial  “‘1-800-air power.’”

Just vacate the area. Don't worry about being a widow.

‘‘As we know, people learn best from personal stories,’’ he said. “Malala’s story is a powerful antidote to extremist propaganda, and the Nobel Prize reinforces its impact.’’

I'm sick of being propagandized muhself.

That's why it gets so much agenda-pushing propaganda pre$$.

"7 die in stampede at opposition rally

ISLAMABAD — A stampede at an antigovernment rally in central Pakistan killed seven supporters of an opposition politician, officials said Saturday. The stampede occurred at a Multan stadium late Friday. It was the second deadly incident related to protests led by cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan (AP)."

Let's try to put it all in historical context:

"In 1999, Pakistan's military overthrew the democratically elected government of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.... In 2009, a suicide car bombing near a market in northwestern Pakistan killed 41."

Looks like Sharif survived the latest attempt.

"Pakistan says Indian border fire set back peace" Associated Press   October 11, 2014

ISLAMABAD — Pakistan said Friday that this week’s armed clash with India set back the peace process between the two nuclear-armed rivals and warned New Delhi to refrain from any ‘‘adventure,’’ saying the army would respond to aggression.

Exchanges of fire are common along the tense and heavily guarded frontier, but this week’s flare-up, which left more than 20 people dead, is the most serious violation yet of a 2003 cease-fire agreement.

‘‘We say yes to peace, but we will not accept hegemony of any country,’’ Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Khan said after attending a meeting convened by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to discuss tensions along the Line of Control that separates Pakistan-controlled Kashmir from Indian-held Kashmir.

Khan said the National Security Committee decided to write a letter to the United Nations about the ‘‘unprovoked Indian firing,’’ which began on Sunday as Muslims in the region were preparing to celebrate the Eid al-Adha holiday.

Let's hope it doesn't go that way

One wonders why the Khorasan moved to Syria if they wanted to attack inside the U.S., huh?

Is it possible ISIS, the terrorists, and all the rest are illusions conjured up by the AmeriKan government and mouthpiece jewsmedia to fulfill an entirely separate agenda that is being concealed from you?
