It's the last thing I read and I'm working backwards:
"Wall Street tapped the brakes on its recent record-setting rally Friday with a mixed finish for the major stock indexes. The uneven finish for U.S. stock indexes followed a slide in global markets that began in Asia amid worries about resurgent coronavirus cases in China and weak economic data from Europe. In the United States, disappointing earnings reports from IBM and some other companies gave cover for investors to sell and book profits after big recent gains. “The big picture is, it’s still a pretty friendly environment for stocks,” said David Lefkowitz, head of Americas equities at UBS Global Wealth Management. ”The pandemic will wind down, you’ll see a surge in corporate profits this year and the Fed made very clear they’re not going to take the punch bowl away anytime soon.”
The in$ulting eliti$m of the pre$$ is ruining it.
Good thing the credit cards are all paid up:
"U.S. credit card delinquencies reached record-low levels in 2020, as Americans took advantage of stimulus checks and adjusted their spending habits, according to a new report. Financial support in the form of stimulus checks, as well as an array of payment adjustments — including mortgage and student-loan payment freezes — helped many consumers stay afloat, but the deepest recession in decades has increased inequality, as many of the lowest-paid workers remain unemployed....."
Maybe they can get a $lurp from the Fed punch bowl.
"At first glance, the latest unemployment data for Massachusetts don’t look too bad. Payrolls lost just 600 jobs in December, the state said Friday, and the increase in the unemployment rate — to 7.4 percent from 6.7 percent in November — was driven in part by people entering the labor force to look for work, but dig a little deeper and the true toll of the winter surge in coronavirus cases emerges. The segments of the state’s economy least affected by the pandemic — including white-collar professionals who can work from home, but also factory and construction workers — continue to do okay while restaurants, hotels, health care providers, and education sector workers struggle. This so-called K-shaped economic recovery — up for some, down for others — is the reason why more emergency aid from the federal government is needed, even after the $900 billion relief package passed by Congress in December. Without more money, jobless benefits will begin running out for millions of Americans in mid-March, municipalities will cut more jobs to close budget deficits, and evictions will accelerate....."
Yeah, Biden’s $1.9 trillion rescue plan bribe to stay shutdown will $olve everything in the "K-shaped recovery" -- a polite term for the massive transfer of wealth to the billionaire class as they rede$ign life on Earth while impoverishing you over the CV hoax and lie.
I know, I know, it's all a gamble as the hospital gouges the $hit out of you and the $tate government taxes your aid:
"Add this to the to-do list that business groups want the Massachusetts Legislature to tackle ASAP: a tweak to state law that could protect thousands of small-business owners from getting hit with a tax for accepting federal stimulus funds. “When you’re struggling to just stay in business and stay open, removing that uncertainty would be helpful,” said Jim Rooney, chief executive of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce. “It’s the right and fair thing to do.” The “fix” had been included in the Senate version of a wide-ranging economic development bill, but it did not survive House-Senate negotiations before the bill was sent to Governor Charlie Baker’s desk earlier this month, in the final moments of the previous two-year legislative session....."
Turns out you will not be getting that tax break after all.

"Trump reveals extent of pandemic damage to business empire" by Sophie Alexander, Bill Allison and Shahien Nasiripour Bloomberg News, January 21, 2021
Donald Trump’s empire has been hit hard by coronavirus closures, with revenue from his Washington and Las Vegas hotels down by more than half.
In his last financial disclosure form as president, Trump detailed the damage the pandemic has wrought, at a time when many tourism businesses are suffering from a lack of travelers. As president, the real estate magnate resisted policies to slow the pandemic through mask-wearing, and insisted it remained safe for people to travel domestically.
No offense, but he's gone and I have my own economic problems to worry about rather than read this filler.
Revenue from the Trump hotel in Washington, which he had been trying to sell, fell to $15.1 million from $40.5 million a year earlier, according to the disclosure posted Wednesday. In Vegas, hotel-related sales were down to $9.2 million from $23.3 million. Another important property of Trump’s, the Doral Golf Resort in Miami, also saw revenues drop to $44 million from $77 million a year earlier.
In the UK and Ireland, revenues at his golf courses dropped by roughly two-thirds, part of a 27 percent overall decline in golfing revenue from the prior year.
Trump’s total income fell to between $273 million and $308 million, according to the form, which covers 2020 and the first 20 days of 2021. In his first financial disclosure in 2017, Trump reported making more than $528.9 million over 15 1/2 months, including his first three months as president.
One bright spot in Trump’s empire is his Mar-a-Lago Club in Florida, where the ex-president returned Wednesday after his final day in the White House. Revenue hit $24.2 million, up from $21.4 million a year earlier, according to the financial disclosure.
It’s one of Trump’s few properties that seems unaffected by the pandemic. Just a few weeks ago, the Palm Beach spot hosted a New Year’s Eve party attended by Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump, and Rudy Giuliani, with Vanilla Ice performing for a crowd that appeared to be largely without masks.
Trump also reported an uptick in online retail sales year-over-year, up to $1.96 million from $930,869 in 2019; however, in-store sales at Trump Tower in New York City fell because of forced closures — down to $166,064 from $849,313.
In total, Trump valued the assets from his businesses at between $1.3 billion and $1.7 billion. The disclosures are not exact — federal officials give the value of their assets and income in broad ranges, and the top value is ’'over $50 million.’' Trump had 22 assets he listed in that range, including his Mar-a-Lago resort and the Trump International Hotel in Washington.
The form also details more than $40,000 in gifts Trump accepted in his last year in office, including freebies from executives at Boeing, Apple, and Ford Motor.
Trump is worth $2.5 billion, down about $500 million from when he took office, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. His buildings are saddled with more than $1 billion in debt, most of it coming due in the next three years and more than a third of it personally guaranteed.
His ability to refinance the debt may be more constrained after this month’s deadly riot at the US Capitol.
Deutsche Bank, his longtime financier, has said it won’t do business any more with the former president. Firms such as Cushman & Wakefield, a broker for 40 Wall St., and PGA of America, are also distancing themselves, while New York City wants to end contracts with the Trump family business, including a carousel and two ice skating rinks in Central Park and a Bronx golf course.

"Fresh evidence of the job market’s fragility emerged Thursday, underscoring the economic challenges for the Biden administration and heightening the pressure for a fresh wave of stimulus from Washington. “The virus is causing serious disruption,” said Rubeela Farooqi, chief US economist at High Frequency Economics. “It’s going to be pretty rough over the next few months.” The beginning of vaccinations in December provided optimism about a quick turnaround, but the slow rollout in many parts of the country has set back those hopes. On the other hand, the passage of a $900 billion stimulus package last month and the prospect of more aid under the Biden administration allayed fears of a double-dip recession....."
I'm told “more aid is needed for households and businesses.”

"Surveillance pool testing for COVID-19 offers new way to catch outbreaks quickly" by Laura Krantz Globe Staff, January 22, 2021
A new approach to COVID-19 testing could revolutionize our ability to return more quickly — and safely — to workplaces and classrooms, and kick-start the economy before the vaccine is fully distributed.
Several laboratories in the region are working with a handful of schools and other organizations to employ this new approach, known as surveillance pool testing. The strategy involves frequent, wide-scale testing of everyone in an office, business, or school to detect cases early and fast.
That's the ultimate goal of the globalist control freaks, never-ending testing for a "disease" that doesn't exist, with the te$ts become and indu$try.
So far, the state has relied on diagnostic testing — a more traditional, singular test strategy — and urged only those people with symptoms or possible exposure to get swabbed. The Massachusetts testing system, cited as among the best in the nation, remains patchy and pushed to the limit, and is struggling to provide the amount of testing needed.
Epidemiologists and other public health experts have long said that surveillance pool testing is the best path forward, but there hasn’t been the infrastructure or political effort to make such an ambitious endeavor possible. Things are changing now.
With the anticipated launch of surveillance pool testing in public schools across the state, expect to hear more soon about this approach. Until then, here are some basics.
What is pool testing?
Pooling is a testing technique where samples from multiple people are bundled together and processed by a lab. This makes testing faster and less expensive. For example, swabs from all the students in a kindergarten classroom can be collected in one vial and and tested as one sample. If a pool tests positive, each member of the pool is tested again to locate the source of the infection. Pool testing works best when there is a low prevalence of cases, experts say.....

"Local school officials reported to the state 544 new coronavirus cases among students and 390 among school staff members for the week that ended Wednesday. State officials estimate that about 450,000 students across the state are attending some form of in-person learning, and about 75,000 staff members are working in buildings. Cases are only reported among students who are attending in-person school; cases among students in a fully remote learning model are not being tracked by the state. Cases among staff members are only being reported if the employee was inside a school building within the seven days prior to the reported case. State education officials are not tracking when the cases occur, only when local school officials report them to the state. Schools have not appeared to be superspreading locations for the coronavirus, state leaders have repeatedly said this fall, though they said in early December they had identified at least 75 clusters. They believe about half of those clusters could have been linked to in-school transmission....."
Yeah, schools have been scientifically shown not to be a vector of transmission, but don't let that get in the way of the lying narrative.
Did you notice all the WEASEL WORDING and CAVEATS in the paragraph?
Officials "estimate" and are not tracking when but only when reported (?? Talk about keeping a crisis going with distortions and disinformation!), while the schools "don't appear to be superspreader locations and they "believe" the clusters "could have" been linked to schools.

"Biden signs order to increase federal food benefits, among executive actions to stabilize the economy" by Jeff Stein and Laura Reiley Washington Post, January 22, 2021
WASHINGTON — President Biden on Friday signed a significant increase in federal food assistance for millions of hungry families and other executive actions intended to stabilize the deterioration of the economy weighed down by the raging coronavirus pandemic.
The US economy has shown new signs of damage, particularly in the labor market. Last month, the economy lost jobs for the first time since the recovery began, and weekly jobless claims in January have remained at historic highs. Biden has inherited the worst jobs market of any president in modern history.
Conservatives are expected to criticize Biden’s actions, and have generally called for a relaxation of public health restrictions. They’ve also warned against big spending that would increase deficits.
Stephen Moore, a conservative policy expert, said the additional funding to increase food assistance is less important than addressing the economic damage caused by the lockdowns.
’'The most important stimulus would be for Biden to get blue states to open their restaurants, businesses, and schools,’' Moore said. ’'If that doesn’t happen, it doesn’t matter how much money the Biden administration spends.’'
Other conservative economists objected to the push to boost federal contractor wages to $15 an hour, arguing businesses reeling from the pandemic could be hurt by increasing pressure on wages.
’'In general, on minimum wage, moving toward an expectation of $15 hour minimum wage could be dangerous while the economy is still in a precarious position,’' said Brian Riedl, a former GOP staffer and policy expert at the Manhattan Institute, a libertarian-leaning think tank.
Biden’s order attempts in several ways to address the surge in hunger in America during the pandemic.
Joe keeps referring to a dark winter, and could he mean famine?
Perhaps the most significant change in this executive order is a reassessment of the USDA’s Thrifty Food Plan, the basis for determining SNAP benefits. Lisa Davis, senior vice president of Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign, said the metrics are out of date with the economic realities most struggling households face. The president will ask the USDA to consider beginning the process of revising the Thrifty Food Plan to better reflect the modern cost of a healthy basic diet.....
Will that leave you hungry for more or not?
The $mell coming from Biden's kitchen is communi$m!
Time to start partying again because YouTube banned a German channel that spread virus misinformation and the media no longer an enemy of the people as the fight for greater government transparency doesn’t end with a new administration and it’s not just the future of American journalism that is at stake, but also the role this nation has always played as a beacon for press freedom.
The self-adulating, self-aggrandizing, self-congratulatory conceit is beyond sickening.

Things are starting to get complicated:
"Prison, jail inmates are starting to receive COVID-19 vaccines. Some are passing on the offer" by Laura Crimaldi Globe Staff, January 22, 2021
The article was posted at 3:33 p.m.?
The state put 22,000 inmates and correctional workers near the front of the line for coronavirus vaccinations, but early figures show some inmates and correctional facility employees are forgoing a first dose.
In several county jails across the state, only a small sliver of inmates and workers eligible for a voluntary vaccination have acted on the opportunity, with some expressing trepidation about the vaccine.
In Bristol County, about 9 percent of the approximately 700 prisoners and immigration detainees had volunteered to be vaccinated as of Thursday, when the sheriff’s office began administering doses to inmates, according to Jonathan Darling, a spokesman. Vaccination distribution began more than a week ago for workers, but only 23 percent of the staff signed up and received shots, he said.
“We’re hoping to see those numbers go up as people get it and report no side effects,” Darling said in an e-mail. “Inmates or staff can refuse it now but accept it later, so we’re thinking that as inmates and staff get it and report they feel fine that more will accept it.”
Except there are TONS of SIDE EFFECTS, including DEATH!
The fact that state officials are pushing it on captive populations is not only criminal, but evil -- especially when it is for a "disease" that has a 99.99% survival rate, etc, etc, etc.
SIGH!
County sheriffs and prisoner advocates have cited misinformation, distrust of vaccinations, questions about safety and effectiveness, and the history of unethical research and medical practices targeting people of color as reasons given for declining the vaccine.
Meaning despite their situation, they are on the ball. One can certain understand their distrust of authority. One begins to wonder how many were framed and railroaded.
A MassINC poll from late November found that the majority of Massachusetts residents planned to get the when it was made available, but Black and Latino residents are more hesitant because of longstanding distrust of the government on health care issues. Republicans and regular churchgoers are also among those least eager to be first in line for a vaccine, partly due to skepticism over whether the vaccine has been thoroughly tested.
Folks, NO ONE WANTS THEIR POISON so WHAT ARE THEY TO DO?
As usual, they come upon with all sorts of cover stories and such to explain so many things while obscuring the real reasons.
So far, state officials have also made the vaccine available to health care workers, patients at long-term care facilities, first responders, and people living in congregate settings. Massachusetts was among 14 states that went beyond federal guidelines in including prisoners in the first vaccination wave, even as fast-tracking inmates has faced some criticism.
The process is ongoing, and the vaccine is available to all inmates and staff, the DOC said. All patients are observed for 15 to 30 minutes after vaccination to monitor for adverse reactions, and EpiPens and oxygen are available on site.
Yeah, after 30 minutes everything is fine.
That is as long-term as they are getting for a vaccine you don't need, and here, take a pen for old times $ake.
The inmates complained that the DOC didn’t make staff available to answer questions about a range of issues including allergies, how the vaccine interacts with medications or preexisting medical conditions, she said.
“They were not given the opportunity to ask questions they had specific to the vaccine. That is concerning,” said Elizabeth Matos, executive director of the nonprofit Prisoners’ Legal Services of Massachusetts. “They have legitimate questions.”
We all do, and are all prisoners as well in one form or another right now under "restrictions."
In a statement, the DOC said its staff responds to inmates’ questions and noted that the agency is running ongoing education and awareness campaigns.
Tax dollars going to propagandize you to take their poisons.
The virus has claimed the lives of two county inmates and 21 DOC prisoners, including two men who died of COVID-19 in November shortly after being granted medical parole and who are not included in the state’s official tally of correctional fatalities.
Thirteen of the DOC fatalities have occurred since November, the most recent deaths being a MCI-Norfolk prisoner who died on Monday and a prisoner at Old Colony Correctional Center in Bridgewater who died last Friday, state figures show.
There are 412 correctional workers and inmates with active cases of COVID-19 and more than 6,160 staff and prisoners have tested positive for the virus since April, figures show.
In Worcester County, the sheriff’s office scheduled inmate vaccinations to begin on Friday with the administration of 20 doses, said Superintendent David Tuttle. About 180 workers have received their first shots. Tuttle said it’s unclear how many prisoners will ultimately take the vaccine.
“It’s changing every day,” he said. “I think once we start administering them and they see the other inmates not seeing side effects that will go a long way.”
And if they DO see SIDE EFFECTS, what then?

"Everyone in Phase 1 is now eligible to get the COVID-19 vaccine. Does that include you?" by Travis Andersen Globe Staff, January 22, 2021
Governor Charlie Baker announced Thursday that everyone eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine under Phase 1 of the state’s rollout program can now book an appointment to get a shot.
That now includes home-based health care workers, and non-COVID-facing health care workers, as well as workers and residents of congregate care settings such as shelters and prisons. The vaccine has already been available to COVID-facing health care workers, staff, and residents of long-term-care facilities, and first responders such as police, firefighters, and paramedics.
Among those who fall under the home-based health care workers category are personal care attendants (PCAs); mental and behavioral health providers providing in-home treatment; aging service agency staff performing regular visits in the home; and many other groups, according to the state list.
Non-COVID-facing health care workers now eligible for the vaccine include dentists, dental students, and dental hygienists; inpatient and outpatient physical therapists; blood donation workers; audiologists and speech and language pathologists; asthma and allergy specialists; chiropractors; acupuncturists; and a wide array of other professionals.
Next up will be Phase 2, which is slated to launch at some point in February, according to the state. The phase includes, in order of priority, people with two or more comorbidities; those age 75 and older; residents and staff of public and private low-income and affordable senior housing; workers in early education, K-12 schools, transit, grocery, utilities, food and agriculture, restaurants and cafes; employees across the food, beverage, agriculture, consumer goods, retail, and food service sectors; meatpackers; sanitation, public works, and public health workers; vaccine development workers; food pantry workers and volunteers; Uber, Lyft, and other ride share service workers; pharmacy delivery drivers; workers in the passenger ground transportation industry; MassPort employees other than police; water and wastewater utility staff; court system workers such as judges, lawyers, and clerks but not court officers, who’re listed as first responders; medical supply chain workers; funeral directors and funeral workers; shipping port and terminal workers; adults 65 and over; and people with one comorbidity.
Then, the state site says, Massachusetts is scheduled to hit Phase 3 of the rollout in April, when the vaccine “is expected to be available to the general public,” including higher education workers such as administrators, teaching, and non-teaching staff; bottled beverage industry workers; and veterinarians.
“Once the vaccine is available to the general public, public vaccine clinics will be available on the CDC’s interactive website: vaccinefinder.org,” the state site says. “You will also be able to check with your primary care provider, local pharmacy or local health department. "
Speaking during his regular State House briefing Thursday, Baker said that “based on the number of people who have been vaccinated, who were part of the early part of Phase 1, we now believe anybody in Phase 1 should go to the website, find a site near them, and go get dosed. Because they [vaccination sites] are now open. All of them.”
The website he referred to is mass.gov/covidvaccinemap, which provides information on eligibility and vaccination site locations, as well as instructions for booking appointments.
The state site also reminds residents that “the vaccine requires two doses. You must receive the same vaccine for doses one and two, and therefore you must receive both doses at the same site location.”
There is actually some question about that now, according to the CDC and New York Times, and believe it or not cases are falling like a WTC tower on an infamous September morning and hospitalizations in the U.S. are plummeting, even as new variant "may" carry a higher death risk because "some evidence" seems to suggest that so don't celebrate yet!

The state also said 89,433 people were estimated to have active cases of the potentially deadly virus, in what is more weasel wording.
"Estimated" to have active cases of the "potentially deadly" virus, a day after reporting 4,821 new confirmed coronavirus cases and 75 new deaths with 88,929 people estimated to have active cases of the potentially deadly virus, and since the fall, the state has seen an alarming rise in cases of the deadly virus, accompanied by a smaller rise in the number of deaths.

"COVID-19 vaccine doses spoiled at Jamaica Plain VA facility" by Jeremy C. Fox Globe Correspondent, January 21, 2021
Nearly 2,000 doses of the Moderna vaccine for COVID-19 were spoiled earlier this week when a cleaning contractor accidentally loosened an electric plug on a freezer at the Jamaica Plain VA Medical Center, officials said Thursday.
Staff at the VA Boston Pharmacy found on Tuesday that the freezer had failed and 1,900 doses of the vaccine stored inside had been compromised, according to Kyle Toto, a spokesman for the VA Boston Healthcare System.
“The freezer was in a secure location and had an alarm system installed,” Toto said in an e-mail. “The plug was found loose after a contractor accidentally removed it while cleaning. An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the incident and why the monitoring and alarm system did not work as expected.”
How lame.
They are calling sabotage an accident, and God bless the saboteurs.
Some say it is to keep the price up and spike demand, but that doesn't hold water when you think of it. People don't want their poison because there is no need for it.
Elsewhere around the country, vaccine distribution has run into issues with delivery, storage, and distribution.
In late December, Wisconsin officials said a pharmacist at a suburban Milwaukee medical center deliberately removed hundreds of coronavirus vaccine doses from refrigeration and left them out overnight. The pharmacist was fired and later arrested.
Just days ago, California’s state epidemiologist recommended that the state pause the distribution of more than 330,000 doses of the Cambridge company’s vaccine after a “higher than usual” number of people showed signs of a possible severe allergic reaction.
More weasel wording from the pharma mouthpiece known as the Globe.
Two days later, health officials in Maine and Michigan said more than 16,000 doses spoiled because of temperature control problems during delivery and would probably have to be disposed of, and on Wednesday, New York Mayor Bill de Blasio said the city was rescheduling 23,000 vaccine appointments because of a supply shortage. He said Moderna and Texas-based distributor McKesson Corp. had told city officials that 103,000 doses expected to arrive Tuesday will be delayed for a couple of days, according to Bloomberg News.....
Is this their way of backing off the agenda now that Trump is gone, or is this a boa constrictor move before the real squeeze?

"A pharmacist at a suburban Milwaukee medical center deliberately removed hundreds of coronavirus vaccine doses from refrigeration and left them out overnight twice, not just once as officials initially believed, the health system’s chief medical officer said Thursday. Employees at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton inoculated nearly 60 people with the ruined vaccine, not knowing the doses had been left out too long, rendering their shots less effective or ineffective, Jeff Bahr, chief medical officer for Aurora Advocate Health, told reporters during a teleconference. The recipients shouldn’t be in any danger, he said, but the system is monitoring their conditions. The pharmacist intentionally removed the vaccine from refrigeration, Bahr said, but he declined to comment on the individual’s motive, saying the person has been fired and police are investigating. He did not identify the pharmacist and stressed that the facility’s security protocols are sound. “This was a situation involving a bad actor, as opposed to a bad process,” he said. Police in Grafton, about 20 miles north of Milwaukee, said in a statement that the department, FBI, and Food and Drug Administration are actively investigating. No arrests have been announced. No one returned messages left at the Grafton police department or FDA. Leonard Peace, a spokesman for the FBI’s Milwaukee office, said he could neither confirm nor deny the bureau was involved in an investigation. Bahr said during his teleconference that a pharmacy tech at the Grafton facility discovered 57 vials of the Moderna vaccine outside their refrigerator early on Saturday morning. The vials contained enough doses to inoculate about 570 people, he said. The vials were returned to the refrigerator and the tech reported the discovery. The pharmacist who removed them initially said he or she took them out to access other items in the refrigerator and inadvertently failed to replace them, Bahr said. The Moderna vaccine is viable for 12 hours after being removed from refrigeration. In light of that, Bahr said medical personnel used doses from the thawed vials to inoculate 57 people on Saturday and discarded the rest. He said officials in the health system suspended the pharmacist after growing more suspicious over the next few days. After multiple interviews, the pharmacist admitted Wednesday to deliberately removing the vials from the refrigerator overnight Dec. 24 to Dec. 25 before returning them and then removing them a second time, Bahr said. That meant that the vaccine had been outside the refrigerator for longer than 12 hours and the doses administered to the 57 people on Saturday were rendered less effective or totally ineffective, Bahr said. Moderna officials have told Aurora that the spoiled vaccine shouldn’t pose any safety concerns, Bahr said. The Grafton facility hadn’t received any Moderna vaccine before Dec. 24, which means the pharmacist wouldn’t have had an opportunity to tamper with any other vials, he added."
