VA Screws Vets Again

"VA agrees to pay $20 million to veterans in 2006 data breach; Lawsuit alleged privacy invasion" by Hope Yen, Associated Press | January 28, 2009

WASHINGTON - The Veterans Affairs Department agreed yesterday to pay $20 million to veterans for exposing them to possible identity theft in 2006 by losing their sensitive personal information....

Government can't even protect their own records, yet they need all the spying power for... what?

Under the proposal, veterans who show harm from the data theft will be able to receive payments ranging from $75 to $1,500.

That's it? After BILLIONS have been LOOTED by WAR PROFITEERS? That's the payment the GRUNTS are getting?

Any money left over will go to veterans' charities.

Yeah, sure it will.
