ORLANDO - Casey Anthony, whose whereabouts have been a secret since her dramatic acquittal on murder charges last month, may have to report to a probation officer in central Florida this week under a judge’s order yesterday in another case against her.
The Orlando judge who sentenced Anthony last year for fraudulent check writing -- checks she had stolen from a friend -- signed a corrected version of Anthony’s probation order that made clear she was supposed to start the one-year term after her release from jail, not while she was detained waiting for her trial on the murder charges.
Her attorneys are likely to challenge the revised order.

Anthony has been out of the public eye since she was acquitted last month in the death of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee. The jury’s decision angered many people, and threats were made on Anthony’s life. She vanished after leaving jail July 17.
It made me happy because a jury stood up a government that had no evidence and no case.
Anthony’s attorneys said local authorities would have to provide security if she was forced to return. To back up that claim, they included a flier in their arguments that showed a doctored photo of Anthony with a bullet mark on her forehead. Underneath the photo reads in part: “With a forehead that big, the headshot will be easier.’’
