Why There Will Be No Deal With Iran

Probably the number one reason, but if not there is always France

And if they are not enough there is always the United States Congress.

"Iran needs to come clean on past weapons research" October 23, 2013

In 1993, South African president F.W. de Klerk acknowledged something the world had long suspected: South Africa had developed nuclear weapons and then destroyed them.

Related(?)Revealed: how Israel offered to sell South Africa nuclear weapons

De Klerk’s decision to come clean about South Africa’s activities — and to invite the International Atomic Energy Agency in to verify the claim — helped transform South Africa from an international pariah into a trusted actor on the world stage.

Today, Iran is in a similar situation....

Except they are not because they have not developed nuclear weapons.

Suspicions about Iran’s nuclear program....

They had suspicions about Iraq's, too.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me.... we can't get fooled again!

Acknowledgement — plus a series of concrete pledges and agreements to allow unannounced inspections — should be the centerpiece of any agreement between Iran and the United States....

Well, that is a deal killer right there because the Globe is asking them to acknowledge something they have not done!

So when is Israel going to come clean, Globe?

There is only one other option on the table.

"President Obama is plunging ahead in search of a nuclear agreement with Iran despite outright opposition from American allies in the Middle East and deep skepticism, if not open hostility, from Congress. Iran is pressing ahead in its own way, trying to make a deal to ease painful economic sanctions while holding at bay its hard-liners at home. Obama’s willingness to embrace a pact has pushed his administration’s already contentious relationship with Israel to the brink, strained ties with Gulf Arab states, and exacerbated tensions with lawmakers on both sides of the political aisle in Washington. Opponents say Iran is getting too much in the way of sanctions relief for too little in the way of concessions. And, they argue, Iran just can’t be trusted."

Who can't be trusted?

"Israeli officials appear to have distorted what Iran would get in return."

Oh, more Israeli lies to lead us to war? No thanks.

Of course, the failure to make a deal will be the Iranians fault.

"Even the smallest gestures toward the United States by Iran poke at a nest of complications: Deep historical grievances, perceptions of national pride, and a culture of ‘‘enemy’’ resistance that runs to the core of groups such as the Revolutionary Guard, which is instinctively wary of anything that could chip away at its vast influence stretching from the military to the economy."

Iran's military-industrial complex!

I hope you can see why I am so sour on my pot-hollering-kettle crap media
