"Nine arrested for drinking, rowdy behavior, police say
Nine people were arrested in downtown Boston on Saturday afternoon for alleged drinking in public and disturbing the peace, police said. Police found a group of people sitting inside the park near the Chinatown Gate at 5:10 p.m., and police said two of them appeared to be asleep, two were engaging in a loud argument, and the others were sharing cans of beer and a pint of vodka. Other people in the area were alarmed by their actions, police said, so officers asked the individuals — who were in their 40s and 50s — to tone down their behavior. But the group continued being disruptive, so arrests were made, according to police. Seven of those arrested were from Boston; the others were from Raynham and Cambridge."
