Coasting on Kenyan Coverage

Don't blink or you will miss it:

"22 dead in attacks on Kenyan coast" Associated Press   July 07, 2014

NAIROBI — Twenty-two people were killed in overnight attacks by gunmen on the Kenyan coast, the Kenya Red Cross said Sunday. Al Qaeda-linked militants claimed responsibility but Kenyan officials blamed local separatists.

The Saturday night attacks left 13 dead in the town of Hindi and nine dead and one person missing in the town of Gamba, in neighboring Lamu and Tana Delta counties, Kenya Red Cross chief Abbas Gulet said.

Al Qaeda-linked al-Shabab militants from Somalia claimed responsibility for Saturday’s attacks — just like they did for others last month that killed 65 people. Police in Kenya, however, said preliminary investigations pointed to a Kenyan separatist group on the coast.

I guess CIA-Duh left an empty net, huh?

The attacks come as tensions are rising over a planned protest rally Monday in Nairobi by the opposition, which wants the government to convene national talks over security issues, the increasing cost of living, corruption, and the disbandment of the electoral authority.

Many fear the protests could further divide the nation along tribal lines. Looks like a government-driven false flag to me. Who benefited?

"Somali police, intelligence chiefs fired" Associated Press   July 10, 2014

MOGADISHU, Somalia — The country’s police and intelligence chiefs were fired Wednesday, one day after Islamic militants attacked the heavily guarded presidential palace in the capital, Mogadishu, the information minister said.

Government troops and African Union peacekeepers repelled the attack and no government official was hurt, Information Minister Mustafa Dhuhulow said. Three of the four extremist attackers were shot dead by soldiers after they forced their way into the presidential palace late Tuesday, sparking an exchange of gunfire, he said. The fourth militant was wounded.

If it ever even happened.

You can't discount completely staged and scripted fiction when it comes to the AmeriKan ma$$ media anymore.

Dhuhulow said Wednesday that police commander Abdihakim Saaid and intelligence chief Bashir Gobe were replaced immediately.

A new minister for national security was also appointed in changes announced by Prime Minister Abdiweli Sheikh Ahmed, who was inside the palace when the attack happened. Dhuhulow said the government would implement sweeping new security measures to prevent such attacks.

The presidential compound houses several government offices and is considered one of the safest places in Mogadishu because of the tight security presence. However, it has been attacked many times by militants over the years.
