Slow Saturday Special: Globe Spiked My Coffee

"Last September, two Park School fifth-graders started the Styrofoam Club.

Ted Wells, a teacher at the independent, coeducational school for students up to ninth grade, said the students were pleased with the outcome of the meeting. “They took the kids very seriously,” he said. “We agreed on almost everything, except the timetable, but they’re working hard at it and care about it like we do.”

Lauren Mitchell, who will be entering fifth grade at the school in the fall, said she and the other club members were excited to meet with Dunkin’ executives. “Kids don’t have a big voice,” she said. “This year, we’ve found a way to have a voice.”

So change.org is an agenda-pushing controlled-opposition operation.

:-(

Related: Second Grade Protest Was Controlled Opposition

So is nearly every protest I'm seeing in my paper. The tone of coverage as well as amount of attention will clue you in as to whether it is a sanctioned and approved protest or whether it's a pooh-pooh protest.

Oh, one more thing: waving kids in my face when the same pre$$ is promoting wars killing millions and Israel is slaughtering Gazan kids isn't really cutting it, either.

I know you propaganda shovelers are really casting about in a panic these days, but have yourself a drink and settle down. Think, dammit!

"Patriots suing Bacardi after rum maker walks away from deal" by Callum Borchers | Globe Staff   July 19, 2014

The New England Patriots had a bad experience with Bacardi, and now the team is complaining of a hangover.

The Patriots are suing Bacardi for breach of contract after the rum maker backed out of a deal that included plans for a 20,000-square-foot pavilion, to be called Casa Bacardi, on the grounds of Gillette Stadium.

In a complaint filed in Suffolk Superior Court this week, the team accused Bacardi of bad-faith negotiating and said it wasted time and money on what was supposed to be a 10-year, multimillion-dollar exclusive sponsorship agreement.

To boot, the Patriots said they probably won’t have time to secure another liquor sponsor before the season....

Oh, I can't leg this training camp sprint out anymore. Sorry.

"Red Sox, Globe in security talks with Ed Davis" by Callum Borchers | Globe Staff   July 18, 2014

Former Boston Police Commissioner Edward F. Davis’s next gig could be protecting Fenway Park.

The Red Sox said Friday they are in talks with Davis about providing security consulting services for the 102-year-old stadium.

“The agreement would entail providing wide-ranging security assessments and planning for the ballpark, resulting in increased security for fans attending games and Red Sox staff,” said team spokeswoman Zineb Curran.

Davis also is discussing security services with The Boston Globe, said Ellen Clegg, a spokeswoman for the newspaper. Red Sox principal owner John W. Henry owns the Globe. No agreements have been finalized.

Davis, who left his police post last November, also is on a fellowship at Harvard University’s Institute of Politics and is a security analyst for WBZ-TV.

I made two notations regarding this item.

One was that Ed Davis is being well-taken care of for his participation in the fraud of crisis drills gone live that were presented as the Boston Marathon bombings.

Two, who would want to threaten sports pooh-bahs and Globe staff? Why would anyone waste their time? Sitting here and commenting about the absurdity of all this on a daily basis is enough. If anything does happen now, we instantly know what it is. I can sum it up in two words: false flag. Then the idea is too investigate further, but even if we do not we know one thing: whatever version is being promoted by my government and its ma$$ media mouthpiece is sure to be a lie.
