Sunday Globe Special: Baghdadi Has Bad Breath

Needs to floss more then.

"The call to prayer is made as he cleans his teeth with a miswak, a special type of stick that devout Muslims use to clean their teeth and freshen their breath."

[This guy, previously identified by Iraq as al-Badri (Ibrahim Awad Ibrahim Al Badry), was reportedly held by the Americans in 2004, killed in 2006-7, arrested again by Iraq in 2009, and possibly again in 2012 (SEE:  There Is No “Al-Qaeda In Iraq,” Only An Official Cover Story for US Army Covert Actions).  He would have been known to Colonel Jim Steele, the commander of America's "Salvador Option," who was brought-in as an adviser in Iraq in 2004, before the bombing of Golden Dome mosque set-off sectarian civil war (SEE: From El Salvador to Iraq: Washington’s man behind brutal police squads).  He would have been a likely candidate for brainwashing during any of those stays, under the US "proactive conterterrorism" project, which "was initiated to proactively target terrorism from captured terrorists," according to a Jan. 22, 2007 INTERPOL bulletin on Mohammed Jamal Khalifa (bin Laden's brother-in-law).  The heavily redacted documents referred to a program for creating terrorist leaders who were actually paid agents-provocateurs.  This was the same time period in which another Guantanamo-trained terrorist-provocateur (Abdullah Mehsud) came forth to create the TTP Taliban false-front.] -- Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi…The Insane US/Saudi Puppet Who Dares To Speak for Allah

That's why all this stinks:

"Video purported to show ISIS leader" by Ryan Lucas | Associated Press   July 06, 2014

BAGHDAD — A video posted online Saturday purports to show the leader of the Islamic State extremist group that has overrun much of Syria and Iraq delivering a sermon at a mosque in Iraq, in what would be a rare — if not the first — public appearance by the militant.

The video was released on at least two websites known to be used by the group, but it was not possible to independently verify whether the person shown was indeed the group’s leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. It bore the logo of al-Furqan, the group’s media arm.

Through brute force and guile, the Islamic State group has seized control of a vast swath of land straddling Syria and Iraq, and has declared the establishment of an Islamic state, or caliphate, in those territories. It proclaimed Baghdadi the leader of its state and demanded that all Muslims pledge allegiance to him.

‘‘The mujahedeen have been rewarded victory by God after years of jihad, and they were able to achieve their aim and hurried to announce the caliphate and choose the Imam,’’ he says in the video, referring to the leader.

‘‘It is a burden to accept this responsibility to be in charge of you,’’ he adds. ‘‘I am not better than you or more virtuous than you. If you see me on the right path, help me. If you see me on the wrong path, advise me and halt me. And obey me as far as I obey God.’’

He is dressed in black robes and a black turban, has dark eyes, thick eyebrows, and a full, black beard. He speaks eloquent classical Arabic, but with little emotion.

The mosque has several dozen men and boys standing for prayer, and a flag of the black Islamic State group is hoisted in the mosque. One man stands guard, with a gun holster under his arm.

At the beginning of the video, the man purported to be Baghdadi slowly climbs the pulpit in the great mosque in Iraq’s second-largest city of Mosul, which Baghdadi’s group captured last month. Then the call to prayer is made as he cleans his teeth with a miswak, a special type of stick that devout Muslims use to clean their teeth and freshen their breath.

Oh, well, now I'm convinced that all this is real.

A senior Iraqi intelligence official said that after an initial analysis, the man in the video is believed to indeed be al-Baghdadi. The official said the arrival of a large convoy in Mosul around midday Friday coincided with the blocking of cellular networks in the area. He says the cellular signal returned after the convoy departed.

??????

The official spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to brief the media. A Mosul resident confirmed that mobile networks were down around the time of Friday prayers, and then returned a few hours later. He spoke on condition of anonymity because of fears for his safety.

Another aspect of the rule Baghdadi envisions was made clear in a series of images that emerged online late Saturday showing the destruction of at least 10 ancient shrines and Shi’ite mosques in territory his group controls.

That's blasphemy, and the fact that those things stood for centuries flies in the face of the canard of sectarianism that is floated by the mouthpiece media.

The 21 photographs posted on a website that frequently carries official statements from the Islamic State extremist group document the destruction in Mosul and the town of Tal Afar. Some of the photos show bulldozers plowing through walls, while others show explosives demolishing the buildings in a cloud of smoke and rubble.

When is the NSA tracking them down?

Residents from both Mosul and Tal Afar confirmed the destruction of the sites.

How did they get confirmation and from whom?

I'm just supposed to accept without question shit-shoveled swill from the propaganda pre$$ that has never stooped lying?

Sunni extremists consider Shi’ite Muslims heretics, and the veneration of saints apostasy.

The Islamic State group seized Mosul, Iraq’s second-largest city, in June in the opening act of its lightning offensive that sent much of the Iraqi army scattering. Shi’ite militiamen and volunteers have had to fill the void as the regular army struggles to regroup.

When are they marching on Baghdad?

On Saturday, Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki of Iraq removed the chief of the army’s ground forces and the head of the federal police from their posts as part of his promised shakeup in the security forces following their near-collapse.

What that tells me is Maliki was being undermined by certain members of the military.

Military spokesman Lieutenant General Qassim al-Moussawi said Maliki signed the papers to retire Lieutenant General Ali Ghaidan, commander of the army’s ground forces, and Lieutenant General Mohsen al-Kaabi, the chief of the federal police. Moussawi said both men leave their jobs with their pensions. No replacements have been named.

This while the Iraqi people suffer privations of every sort.

Last month, Maliki retired three generals who had been deployed in Mosul and ordered legal proceedings against them. He also dismissed a brigadier general and ordered his court martial in absentia.

Why is this the first I've seen of it?

They even call it a PROPAGANDA VIDEO as they LAUGH in our FACES with this FRAUD!

"Iraq tries to verify image as top rebel" Associated Press   July 07, 2014

BAGHDAD — Iraq security agencies are working to verify the authenticity of a video that purportedly shows the elusive leader of the Sunni extremist group that has declared an Islamic state in a large chunk of territory it controls, authorities said.

Don't bother. Why waste your time with something we know is fake?

The video said to show Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the head of the Islamic State group, was reportedly made Friday at the Great Mosque in Iraq’s second-largest city, Mosul.

A senior Iraqi intelligence official said Saturday initial analysis indicates the man in the video is Baghdadi.

The Mosul sermon would be the first public appearance for the Islamic State leader.

Baghdadi, who has a $10 million bounty on his head, took over the group four years ago.

Iraqi military spokesman Lieutenant General Qassim al-Moussawi told reporters Sunday the country’s security services are still analyzing the 21-minute video to verify whether the speaker is indeed Baghdadi.

How many times do we have to kill him or is he going to change his name again?

Now there is word he has been wounded in an air strike?

Too bad they sent the nurses home to India:

"Stranded nurses return home

NEW DELHI — Dozens of Indian nurses who had been stranded in Iraqi territory held by Islamic extremists were greeted with hugs and flowers on Saturday as they returned home to southern India. The 46 women had been holed up for more than a week in Tikrit, where fighters of the Islamic State group have taken over. They finally crossed over Friday into a largely autonomous Kurdish region (AP)."

They are really nursing this bulls***.
