It's All in the Starfish

"The disease wreaking havoc on wild starfish populations on the West Coast has struck captive collections on Washington’s Olympic Peninsula. Starfish are dying along much of the North American Pacific coast in great numbers because of the wasting disease, which is characterized by lesions on the surface of the echinoderms. Similar outbreaks have been recorded before, but never have so many starfish died over so wide a geographic area....

I just keep thinking what event could have changed things in the Pacific over the last few years? What could have made things different than before, and is still making them different to the tune of 300 tons of radioactive water dumped into the sea every day, day after day after day?

Meanwhile, in the ma$$ media it is hey diddle diddle, the corporate fiddle, the shark jumped over the spoon. The little dog pooped just to leave a pile, and the Muslims blew up the moon.
