While a fugitive, Lewis, 26, allegedly raped, kidnapped, and robbed female escorts in Colorado and Oregon and allegedly robbed an escort in Indianapolis. He is also believed to have traveled through Idaho, Utah, and Ohio.
The hunt for Lewis came to an end when a New York state trooper tried to pull his vehicle over and Lewis allegedly sped away, eventually crashing the SUV into the Hudson River.
