Authorities were scouring several North Shore communities Monday, continuing their search for a Swampscott mother last seen by her family on Thursday.
No one was facing charges in the disappearance of Jaimee Mendez, authorities said Monday.

Mendez’s sister, Alyssa Mendez, wrote over the weekend on Facebook that Jaimee Mendez was last seen with a man who state records indicate is a Level 3 sex offender living in Lynn.
The man could not be reached for comment on Monday. The Globe is not naming him because he has not been charged in connection with Mendez’s disappearance.
Someone shouted “go away” from inside his residence when a reporter went to the door.
After television crews began to assemble outside the house, police arrived and said they had been called by the homeowner, who asked that reporters keep off private property and refrain from ringing the doorbell.
Attempts to reach Mendez’s family for comment were unsuccessful....
