On Gaard at Gillette

"Man stabbed at Route 1 motel

A man was stabbed at a Foxborough motel Sunday afternoon, police said. First responders received a call at about 1:30 p.m. for a reported stabbing at the Gaard Motel off Route 1, police said. A 43-year-old man suffering from stab wounds was found in the motel, said firefighter Andrew Puntini. The unidentified victim had possible life-threatening injuries but appeared to be in stable condition, fire officials said. He was taken by helicopter to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Puntini said."

At least it didn't ruin the game.

"New digs for high rollers at Gillette Stadium

Gillette Stadium will add a swanky members-only lounge behind the south end zone during the offseason. After being whisked inside through a private entrance, members will be able to enjoy a view of the field through large glass windows, with premium food, an upscale bar, private restrooms, state-of-the-art HD televisions, and media walls in the comfort of a climate controlled-room. Members also will be able to mingle on a terrace just steps from the uprights — if they’re willing to risk having their pricey cocktails spilled by an errant Gronk spike, that is."

How football has changed.

I always resented my dad paying more attention to that than me on Sundays.
