One thing I found myself thinking was I guess those protests in Greece, etc, are over because there is no coverage. Sets me in mind of the way they treat Africa: bring up the gruesome, unending misery and slaughter for about a week -- depending on where they wish to push the agenda -- and then fahgedduh about it!!! When was the last time you say an article about Darfur, for example.
No, the agenda-pushing MSM just trots the stuff out when they have an ax to grind. Of course, they are on to other things today and are basically the same transmitters of scitte they have always been. Some things never change.
Then again, maybe it is me; there were so many articles I either skimmed or Xed out it didn't really matter. Too many blogs to look at with what is happening in Gaza. That must get out, needs to get out. Fuck those evil bastards. Shame those rotten NaZionist assholes -- and cheer when they are gone because it will be soon.
Judgment is coming, and it will be most righteous.
Now back to the post and title.
Palestinian youths threw stones at Israeli border police in the village of Issawiya in Arab East Jerusalem yesterday. (ammar awad/Reuters)
Yup, that's about the size of it and the total death figures confirm it: 200+ Palestinians for every Israeli. Same thing in Lebanon.
"Israeli airstrikes kill hundreds in Gaza; Hamas rocket fire draws devastating response" by Richard Boudreaux and Rushdi Abu-Alouf, Los Angeles Times | December 28, 2008
JERUSALEM - Israeli warplanes and helicopters bombarded military targets across the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip yesterday and today, retaliating for rocket fire into Israel, but also inflicting a heavy loss of civilian life in the densely populated Palestinian enclave.
The waves of airstrikes killed at least 230 people yesterday, according to a Palestinian Health Ministry official in Gaza, making it the deadliest Israeli assault on Palestinian territory in years. In an attack early today, Palestinians said Israeli aircraft bombed a mosque near Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, destroying the building and killing at least two people.
Hundreds of Israeli infantry and armored corps troops were heading for the Gaza border in preparation for a possible ground invasion, military officials said, speaking on condition of anonymity under army guidelines.

Moaiya Hassanain, a Health Ministry officer, estimated that one-third of the dead in yesterday's raids were civilian noncombatants and that an additional 400 Palestinians were wounded.
Hamas said all its security installations in Gaza were hit; Israel's Army Radio reported at least 40 targets damaged. Gaza militants responded by firing about 180 rockets and mortar shells at southern Israel - including several medium-range Grad rockets - killing one man and wounding four others in the border community of Netivot.
The Israeli military said aircraft released more than 100 tons of bombs in the first nine hours of fighting, focusing initially on militant training camps, rocket-manufacturing facilities, and weapons warehouses that had been identified in advance. A second wave was directed at squads that fired rockets and mortars at Israeli border communities. The violence unsettled the Middle East. Street protests against Israel erupted across the region....
But Israel's defense minister, Ehud Barak, said.... "There is a time for calm and there is a time for fighting, and now is the time for fighting."
Now, I had Xed out this next paragraph in my printed paper, readers, but I'm posting it here so you can see the unmitigated filth and Zionist diarrhea that passes for "news" here in AmeriKa!
It was the bloodiest day of conflict in and around Gaza since before Hamas, an Islamic group doctrinally committed to the Jewish state's destruction, won the Palestinian Authority's parliamentary elections in early 2006. The group seized full control of Gaza from the rival Fatah movement in June 2007.
Yes, Hamas seeks destruction of the "Jewish state" while ISRAEL ACTIVELY DESTROYS GAZA and after they have STOLEN MOST of the PALESTINIANS LAND!!!!
Furthermore, they admit that HAMAS WON ELECTIONS, but go on to say that they "SEIZED" POWER! That's why it gets the X, and that's why I'm fed up with them!!!!
**************************
Demonstrations were reported in Amman, Beirut, and in a Palestinian refugee camp near Damascus. Palestinian protesters in the West Bank threw stones at Israeli soldiers, who responded with tear gas and rubber bullets.
Mahmoud Abbas, the Palestinian Authority president and Fatah leader who is at odds with Hamas and has been engaged in peace talks with Israel, called Israel's attack "criminal" and called on Western powers to intervene.
Screw that USraeli hand puppet.
Gaza hospitals were crowded with people, and civilians rushed in the wounded in cars, vans, and ambulances....
And WHY CUT THIS from the web, BG?
"People are weeping, women are crying, doctors are shouting," said nurse Ahmed Abdel Salaam at Shifa Hospital, Gaza's main treatment center....
Protests against the Israeli campaign erupted in Arab Israeli villages and the Abbas-ruled West Bank.... Officials in Bethlehem, Jesus' traditional birthplace, turned off Christmas lights, and traders shuttered shops to protest the Israeli attack. Israel has targeted Gaza in the past, but the number of simultaneous attacks was unprecedented.
Yeah, AS IF ISRAEL was DOING SOMETHING NEW!!
Well, 200+ killed so far; how does that compare to the THOUSANDS DEAD since 1948, huh?
No, that gets the Zionist-controlled ax, while THIS is the only thing they leave you with:
The most violent West Bank response was in the city of Hebron, where dozens of youths, many of them masked, hurled rocks for hours at Israeli forces, who lobbed tear gas and stun grenades in response....
Yup, ISRAEL ALWAYS RESPONDING! MSM Monitor don't want to monitor no more -- is hurtful!

"Israeli raids are denounced, defended; Offensive sparks demonstrations across Arab world" by Borzou Daragahi, Los Angeles Times | December 28, 2008
Of course, my Globe is Reuters and this article totally removes and rewrites the protest coverage. I'm sick of the god-damned Jew censorship of these shit-bag Zionist War Dailies!!!! And it has been scrubbed from the web, too!!!
Here is the hand-typed reason why:
GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip - Israel's offensive in the Gaza Strip prompted expressions of anger and demonstrations across the Arab world yesterday, but the United States and other supporters said Israel was forced to take military action.
Arab countries condemned the Israeli attacks and called for an end to the violence, which killed at least 230 people. The Arab League called an emergency meeting of Arab foreign ministers for Wednesday to take a common position on the raids.
Palestinians staged protest rallies in Arab East Jerusalem and in the West Bank cities of ramallah and Hebron yesterday, leading to scuffles with Israeli forces. The Palestinian Authority declared today a day of mourning.
And tommorrow, too, right, tools of USrael?
One of the most violent West Bank protests was reported in Hebron, where dozens of youths, many of them masked, hurled rocks for hours at Israeli forces, who lobbed tear gas and stun grenades in response....
Demonstrations also were reported in Amman, Beirut, and in a Palestinian refugee camp near Damascus....
Somehow, THIS WAS KEPT IN, however:
In a joint statement, Combined Jewish Philanthropies and the Jewish Community Relations Council said, "No country can tolerate such deliberate assaults indefinitely - and Israel has shown extraordinary restraint, publicly calling upon Hamas to stop the attacks and seeking to extend the fragile lull in hostilities that had been in effect for the last six months."
"Israel cares deeply about protecting the lives of civilians, both in Israel and in the Gaza Strip," the statement added.
Ken Levine, president of the Boston chapter of the American Jewish Committee, said Israel had to act. "Israel has done far more than one could reasonably expect of any sovereign nation given the extreme provocations that it has faced," Levine said. "It has no alternative but to defend its citizens." He also expressed concern about the welfare of innocent civilians on both sides.I'm sorry, world, but this Zionist shit-speak just makes me want to puke!
Hamas said yesterday that Arab countries should break ties with Israel, if they have them, and all should work to end the Israeli blockade of Gaza.
Yeah, instad Iran is sending an aid ship -- and they aren't even Arabs; they are persians!
Then a cut or rewrite:
Egypt, the only Arab country bordering Gaza, has refused to break ties, and for months it has taken part in the blockade of Gaza by keeping that border closed most of the time.
Arab League Secretary-General Amr Moussa said the attacks yesterday where only the beginning. "We are facing a continuing spectacle which has been carefully planned. So we have to expect that there will be many casualties. We face a major humanitarian catastrophe."
This is what was added:
Pan-Arab satellite channels broadcast nearly nonstop images of bloodied Palestinian bodies and ambulances screaming. Enraged men and women from Yemen to Morocco gave interviews condemning the air attacks....
Some Arabs and other Muslims condemned not just Israel but also Mahmoud Abbas, the US-backed president of the Palestinian Authority, and Egypt.
As do I!
And here is more Zionist bias for you:
"Hamas rulers won't be easily ousted; Israel hoping strikes will halt attacks" by Karin Laub, Associated Press | December 28, 2008
Ummm, Flashback: Israel Helped Create Hamas
Sort of a jolt to your gut with that morning cup of Joe, 'eh, 'murkn!?
JERUSALEM - Gaza's deeply entrenched Hamas rulers won't be easily toppled, even by Israel's unprecedented bombings yesterday that killed more than 230 people, most of them men in Hamas uniform.
Translation: So it's O.K.!!
For now, Israel's defense minister says he is striving for a lesser, temporary objective: to deliver such a punishing blow to Hamas that the Islamic militants will halt rocket attacks on Israel.
But Israel's offensive, launched just six weeks before a general election in the Jewish state, is fraught with risks. The horrific TV images of dead and wounded Gazans are inflaming Arab public opinion, embarrassing moderate Arab regimes, and weakening Hamas's rival, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
Notice how the tone and tenor of AmeriKa's Zionist-controlled news media is HOW IT ALL AFFECTS poor, poor, Israel?
Israel also risks opening new fronts, including unrest that could destabilize the Abbas-ruled West Bank and possible rocket attacks by Lebanese Hezbollah guerrillas on northern Israel.
Yeah, sure, right.... Lebanon Busts Israeli False-Flag Operation
Hezbollah already proved its military prowess in its 2006 war with Israel, firing thousands of rockets. That war erupted while Israel was fighting in Gaza. Meanwhile, protests erupted across the West Bank yesterday.
Far from being cowed, Hamas leaders sounded defiant yesterday, and Hamas militants fired dozens of rockets into Israel. One Israeli was killed, and mounting Israeli casualties could turn Israeli public opinion against the offensive.
The stink NaZionists suffer ONE DEATH and here their Zionist media organs are calling it MOUNTING CASUALTIES!! I'm gonna be ill, folks!
While hard-liners in Israel have demanded more aggressive action to curb Hamas rocket attacks on Israel, a difficult and bloody ground operation could backfire on Israeli political leaders who are campaigning to replace Prime Minister Ehud Olmert.
In the 2006 war against Hezbollah in Lebanon, Israel lost 114 troops in a month of fighting.
And what about the LEBANESE WHO DIED -- the THOUSAND of them!?
Hamas could kill an Israeli soldier, Sergeant Gilad Shalit, who was captured in 2006. Hamas also could use longer-range Grad rockets on Israeli civilians in bigger cities such as Ashkelon and Beersheva....
And ISRAEL HAS KILLED OVER 200 PEOPLE already!
A truce between Israel and Hamas, which took effect in June, began unraveling in early November, after an Israeli cross-border raid in Gaza.
Yeah, THAT;S RIGHT!! It was ISRAEL that BROKE the TRUCE!!!!! But ON to the NEXT SMEAR, right, Zionist MSM?
Since then, Gaza militants have fired scores of rockets. Israel held off on a major response, apparently in hopes that a new truce could be negotiated....
Truthfully, MSM Monitor readers, I may be taking a break from here and working exclusively on my other blogs. I'm sick of this garbage.
***********************
Yesterday's strikes appeared aimed at hurting Hamas, while minimizing risk to Israeli forces. Barak said the offensive would continue as long as necessary and could be widened - an apparent reference to sending in ground troops if necessary.
ON THEIR WAY!!
Barak, however, defined a narrow objective, to halt the rocket fire from Gaza, not to bring down Hamas, which Israel considers a terrorist group. Eighteen months after seizing Gaza by force, Hamas is in firm control and commands thousands of armed men. It is unlikely to be brought down by force, short of Israel reoccupying the territory. Israel doesn't like that option because it doesn't want to get bogged down in urban warfare.
I'm tired of the garbage bullshit, although I am happy the MSM here admits it speaks for Israel.
"Israel is not looking for a knockout against Hamas because the costs are too high," said Shlomo Brom, a former senior Israeli military official. "The purpose is to eventually return to a cease-fire."
Pffffft!
The PURPOSE is to EXTERMINATE the PALESTINIANS and TAKE the LAND!!!
And even if it were what this guy claims, THIS is the SACRIFICE to RETURN to a CEASEFIRE?!!
Fuck you, Iz-ray-HELL!!!!!!!!!!!
While far from being defeated, Hamas took a heavy hit. Hamas officials said all the group's security compounds were struck. The militants may eventually have to agree to a truce, perhaps even on lesser terms than the June cease-fire, just to rebuild.
So did the PEOPLE of GAZA!!!!
Truthfully, WHO GIVES A FUCK ABOUT POLITIC right now?

Update:
"Israeli troops near Gaza, airstrikes continue" by Ibrahim Barzak and Amy Teibel, Associated Press Writers | December 28, 2008
GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip --Israeli warplanes pressing one of Israel's deadliest assaults ever on Palestinian militants dropped bombs and missiles on a top security installation, smuggling tunnels and dozens of other targets across Hamas-ruled Gaza on Sunday.
Israel called up 6,500 reserve soldiers and moved infantry and armored units to the Gaza border for a possible ground invasion. Some 280 Palestinians died in the first 24 hours of the campaign against Gaza rocket squads. Most of the dead were Hamas police, but the airstrikes also claimed the lives of civilians, including a 15-year-old boy killed inside a greenhouse....
In southern Gaza, aircraft targeted a tanker truck, touching off a blaze that raged out of control and spread to about a dozen nearby houses. One of the main medicine warehouses supplying local pharmacies in southern Gaza was hit in another sortie.
Gaza health official Dr. Moaiya Hassanain said at least 280 people were killed, including 183 members of Hamas' uniformed security forces. It was not clear how many of the others were gunmen or civilians. The civilian casualties included a 15-year-old boy who died in southern Gaza on Sunday in an attack on a greenhouse near the border. At least 644 people were wounded, Hassanain said.
