The Boston Flyer

Now it definitely isn't worth a buck, and believe it or not, this was the only article I found worthy of their web site. The rest is bs.

"Globe joins papers selling front-page ads" by Jenifer B. McKim, Globe Staff | January 8, 2009

ANOTHER REASON to NOT PURCHASE them!

The Boston Globe will soon join a growing number of newspapers nationwide that are selling front-page advertisements as a way to generate additional income. Globe spokesman Bob Powers said yesterday that the paper will start publishing front-page ads during the first quarter of this year, but is still working out details, such as price, size, and location on the page.

Actually, you know what the problem is, MSM?

"
The media which has printed these lies and presented the horrors of the day according to the angle desired by those who operate it have become their own worst enemy. They are daily providing the evidence that they lie. Truth tellers on the internet are turning over every rock they tried to bury the truth beneath."

Hey,
I'm only trying to help (hint, hint, hint). Of course, if they ever told the truth now, the people would not only be appalled at when has been done and the lies that were told doing it; they would understand the MSM's role in FACILITATING ABSOLUTE, AGENDA-PUSHING PROPAGANDA and OUTRIGHT RACIST RUBBISH!!!!

The news comes days after The New York Times Co., which owns the Globe, said it would sell front-page advertising and published an ad Monday across the bottom of its flagship paper, The New York Times.

That's not going to save you, Times.

In recent years, some of the biggest US newspapers, including The Wall Street Journal, have been running front-page ads as the industry battles revenue and circulation declines and readers migrate to the Internet.

Hi, readers!

The Globe has not displayed front-page advertisements in several decades, but it has sold advertising on other section fronts in recent years.

--more--"

It's over for them, readers. Putting advertisements on the front page (who advertises in newspapers anymore?) isn't going to help them. If they have lost a faithful, decades-long consumer and purchaser like me, what chance do they really have?
