Another Warning Heeded

Or not. Been eerily quite on this front for sometime.

"Leader promises Iran is ready to retaliate; Reacts to UN call to search vessels deemed suspicious" by Thomas Erdbrink, Washington Post | June 29, 2010

I already don't trust it.

TEHRAN — Iran is ready to retaliate if its vessels are searched and will postpone nuclear talks with major powers until the end of August in response to new international sanctions, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said yesterday.

Well, yeah, they would be DEFENDING THEMSELVES from PIRATES!

“This is a punishment for them so that they will learn the protocol of talking to other nations,’’ Ahmadinejad said during a press conference, responding to a fourth set of Security Council sanctions against the Islamic Republic, which calls for searches of suspect Iranian vessels.

Did they get the translation right this time or.... ????

“Anybody who insists on implementing this will regret this very harshly,’’ he said of such searches. “We reserve our right for retaliation and defending ourselves.’’

A Revolutionary Guards commander on Saturday threatened that Iran might respond to such searches in the Hormuz Strait, a narrow waterway accessing the Persian Gulf, the world’s biggest oil hub.

They said MIGHT, not WOULD (like Israel and the aid ships); however, I'm getting that old false flag feeling.

On Thursday, Congress approved more harsh unilateral US sanctions punishing foreign firms that provide the Islamic Republic with gasoline.

Yeah, everybody knows they are in service to Israel.

Due to domestic shortages, Iran needs to import 5.8 million gallons of gasoline daily.

Then HOW can they REALLY BE a THREAT!?

You cut that off and their "war machine" grinds to a halt.

They CAN'T REFINE their OWN OIL PRODUCTS (and will be unable to once the USraeli missiles start flying), that is why they have to IMPORT!

Ahmadinejad said that Iran “laughed’’ at such measures. “They think Iran is some island in the ocean,’’ he said.

He has a point to a certain degree, and besides, he has to say that as a leader.

Ahmadinejad did stress that Iran was still willing to discuss a deal on a swap of nuclear fuel it needs for a research reactor that produces medical isotopes.

No, someone else wants war instead.

Turkey and Brazil in May restarted talks on this issue, but the deal they struck with Tehran was turned down by the United States.

Acting in service to. you know.... I mean, I got no beef with Iranians.

Seems to me we owe them a couple of apologies at the minimum.

Ahmadinejad said Iran has conditions for world powers to return to broader talks, demanding that the United States and other nations state their positions on Israel’s alleged possession of nuclear weapons, vow to uphold the Non-Proliferation Treaty, and state whether they are friends or foes of Iran....

Well, that last one is a bit much, but everyone starts off a friend.

The other two suggestions are SHREWD IDEAS!

Ahmadinejad also scoffed at assertions Sunday from CIA director Leon Panetta that Iran had enough material to make two nuclear bombs.

He said stockpiling nuclear weapons was “politically retarded’’ and warned over possible accidents with the United States’ own vast nuclear stockpile.

Yeah, if a city goes up this time I'll be suspecting Israel and the CIA and not buying the bin Laden came from Iran via Pakistan with a hop-skip-jump through the entire Middle East.

You guys BLEW IT, MSM!

Went to the well once to often with Iraq and then the whole ball of yarn came unraveled.

“A country that cannot cap an oil well, how can they stockpile thousands of atomic bombs inside the US and other countries?’’ he asked, referring to the oil gushing into the Gulf of Mexico.

(Blog author sheepishly looks down and kicks toe into dirt. Awwww, well....)

He offered the help of Iranian experts to contain the breach.....

Oh, NO, NO, NO, stay as far the f*** away from us as possible!!!

The MSM will have you hauling in Hezbollah bombers or something!

I'd rather choke on the oil than go through another staged "terror event."

Heck, we turned away the Dutch; what makes him think we would except enemy, 'er, Iranian help?

--more--"

Then there is this little piece of terrorism, 'er, advice:

Globe Editorial
Saudi oil can help thwart Iran

Iran is Paranoid

Well, not really! Globe sure seems out to get 'em!

And more terrorism that W's father said he would never apologize for no matter what the facts. Gives you a clue as to the (lack of) a conscience in that guy.

Then I start thinking evil.

"Relatives remember victims of ’88 crash

BANDAR ABBAS — Iranian helicopters scattered flowers into the Persian Gulf waters yesterday as family members and relatives remembered the 290 passengers killed when a US warship shot down an Iranian airliner 22 years ago.

And it is a frikkin' brief!

About 250 relatives of victims and officials sailed from the southern port city of Bandar Abbas to the spot where the Iran Air A300 Airbus was downed on July 3, 1988 — just a month before the end of the Iraq-Iran war. Washington said the USS Vincennes mistook the airliner for a hostile Iranian fighter jet (AP)."

Yeah, sure. Isn't an apology in order then?

Eleven American battleships and an Israeli one crossed the Suez Canal Friday en route to the Red Sea, the London-based al-Quds al-Arabi newspaper reported.

"Israel gets caught trying to sell a nuclear weapon to South Africa possibly made with weapons-grade uranium Israel stole from the United States. Now it appears that Israel actually did sell a nuclear weapon to North Korea! Three of Israel's German-supplied Dolphin submarines are cruising off the coast of Iran armed with 220 Kiloton nuclear cruise missiles (about 20 times Hiroshima). And Iran, which is building a power station and medical isotopes BUT NO WEAPONS, is the "problem" requiring the sacrifice of more American money and more American lives in service to the nation that just attacked Americans in international waters. Look in a mirror, people; we are the bad guys this time out!" -- Wake the Flock Up
