Warming and Water Don't Mix

"a huge snowpack in the mountains that is melting, which has resulted in widespread flooding"

You know, the snow we were not supposed to get because of global warming.

And any lame-ass rationale will do to pu$h that particular agenda.:

"Warm oceans may speed ice melting" by Associated Press / July 4, 2011

WASHINGTON - “Ocean warming is very important compared to atmospheric warming because water has a much larger heat capacity than air,’’ Jianjun Yin of the University of Arizona said. “If you put an ice cube in a warm room, it will melt in several hours. But if you put an ice cube in a cup of warm water, it will disappear in just minutes.’’

But the water level does not rise, so why would sea levels?

Oh.

Now go boil a pan of water and watch it turn to snowflakes because global warming is supposed to be responsible for that record cold winter and snowfall.

“This means that Greenland and Antarctica are probably going to melt faster than the scientific community thought,’’ Jonathan Overpeck said.

Not as fast as your pos propaganda.

"Scientists say climate change has begun with more extreme weather events, more frequent heat waves, and the melting of Arctic ice....

Actually, the CLIMATE HAS and IS ALWAYS CHANGING so there is a SUBTLE DECEPTION there!

Can't even turn to the courts:

"A federal judge yesterday backed a finding by government scientists that global warming threatens the survival of the polar bear....

Good thing the planet is cooling and the ice expanding then.

The depth of deception from AmeriKa's agenda-pushing media on this issue goes beyond even Stalin's Russia.

I'm reaching the point where I rank the global-warming nazis below even the Zionists these days.

At least the Zionist aren't pretending they are doing it for you; they make it quite clear it is about their interests. The carbon-taxing fart-misters put an altruistic arm around your shoulder and then guilt trip the hell out of you over lies.

I'd even rate them lower than the oil companies despite this profanity:

"Oil pipe rupture spurs evacuations

LAUREL - An ExxonMobil pipeline that runs under the Yellowstone River near Billings in south-central Montana ruptured and dumped an unknown amount of oil into the waterway, prompting temporary evacuations along the river yesterday morning. The company said the pipe leaked for about a half-hour. The cause of the rupture in the pipe carrying crude oil from Belfry, Mont., to the company’s refinery in Billings wasn’t known. The break in the 12-inch diameter pipe occurred late Friday near Laurel. About 140 people were evacuated because of possible explosions, and overpowering fumes (AP)."

"Damage unclear from oil spill in Yellowstone River" by Matthew Brown, Associated Press / July 4, 2011

LAUREL, Mont. — Teams of federal and state workers fanned out yesterday along Montana’s famed Yellowstone River to gauge the environmental damage from a ruptured Exxon Mobil pipeline that spewed tens of thousands of gallons of crude oil into the waterway....

Gary Pruessing, president of the Exxon Mobil Pipeline Co., said company observers flying over the river had seen “very little soiling’’ beyond Billings, and that the oil appeared to be evaporating and dissipating into the river as the flooded Yellowstone carries it downstream.

Yup, it just DISAPPEARED like in the Gulf -- as if we are going to believe some oil company over a spill!

A representative of the Montana Disaster and Emergency Services Division said the company’s claim was reasonable but had not been independently verified.

Every state works for corporations, don't they?

On Saturday, state officials had reported a slick headed downstream toward the Yellowstone’s confluence with the Missouri River, just across the Montana border in North Dakota.

Isn't that were ALL the FLOODING is occurring? So now we can add OIL to the MIX?

“My guess is that as fast as that water is moving, it’s probably dissipating pretty quick,’’ said DES public assistance officer Tim Thennis.

Yeah, nothing to see here says the government.

Yup, no oil in the seafood, no radiation in the air (when was the last time Fukushima even scored a mention in my newspaper)....

Exxon Mobil also revealed yesterday that the 12-inch pipeline had been temporarily shut down in May because of concerns over the rising waters on the Yellowstone. Pruessing said the company decided to restart the line a day later after examining its safety record and deciding the risk of failure was low.

Some executive heard they shut the pipeline down and raised hell!

The company and government officials have speculated that high waters in recent weeks may have scoured the river bottom and exposed the pipeline to debris that could have damaged the pipe. The state has received record rainfall in the last month and also has a huge snowpack in the mountains that is melting, which has resulted in widespread flooding....

Better hurry and get through before the AmeriKan media waters cover the truth again.

Property owners along the river were growing frustrated with the response, particularly in agricultural areas where crops and pastures for grazing were at risk....

And UP GO FOOD PRICES AGAIN!

Billings-area goat rancher Alexis Bonogofsky said the flooding Yellowstone brought the oil into her summer pastures. Bonogofsky said she had been unable to get answers through government authorities or Exxon Mobil.

“My place is covered with oil,’’ she said. “I would like a list that says ‘this is what’s in crude oil.’ . . . I called a million times yesterday and got no response.’’

That is a perfect analogy for AmeriKan government.

*************

The estimated 42,000 gallons spilled was a small fraction of that in major accidents; 11 million gallons were spilled in Alaska’s Exxon Valdez disaster in 1989, for example.

How odd that the 200 million gallon (officially) spill in the Gulf goes unmentioned?

But officials said the pristine nature of the Yellowstone, along with its turbulent waters and riverside communities, were likely to make for unique challenges....

And now the oil companies have soiled that beauty.

And here is wonderful gem you webbers would never have seen:

Temperatures this June in Boston also ran below normal....

In 2010, there were four days of 90 degrees or more; this year there was only one....

On July 6 last year the temperature reached 100 degrees in Boston. Then there were seven other days the reading were above 90 including three official heat waves....

Well, it is supposed to be 90 in July around here.

In contrast, July 2009 saw no days hit 90 degrees (Boston Globe, July 3 2011)."

Yeah, that was the year without a summer.
