"TSA accused of another intrusive search" December 06, 2011|By Associated Press
NEW YORK - A second senior citizen is alleging that the Transportation Security Administration made her pull down her pants as part of a search at John F. Kennedy International Airport.
Ruth Sherman, 88, of Sunrise, Fla., told a New York television station that agents were suspicious about her colostomy bag and asked her to pull down the waist of her pants so they could see it on Nov. 28....
Sherman said she decided to come forward after hearing about the case of 85-year-old Lenore Zimmerman of Long Beach, N.Y. Zimmerman said TSA agents made her take off her pants last week....
The TSA says Zimmerman opted out of a screening machine and told officers she was wearing a back brace or support belt that required a private inspection. The agency says two female officers removed the item, screened it, and sent Zimmerman on her way.
She didn't want cancer being beamed into her so the TSA thugs decided to humiliate her.
“While we regret that the passenger feels she had an unpleasant screening experience, TSA does not include strip searches as part of our security protocols and one was not conducted in this case,’’ the agency said in a written statement.
That doesn't sound like an apology to me.

"Man, 34, pleads guilty to child porn" by Milton J. Valencia | Globe Staff, December 13, 2011
A former employee of the US Transportation Security Administration pleaded guilty in US District Court in Boston yesterday to possession of child pornography.
Andrew Cheever, 34, of Lowell faces 10 years in prison when he is sentenced March 22.
According to a plea agreement, prosecutors will recommend that he serve just over four years in a federal prison, followed by 10 years of supervised release. He would also have to register as a sex offender.
Ever notice only losers work at the TSA?
The case stems from a Massachusetts State Police investigation into Internet child pornography. State Police detectives observing a peer-to-peer, file-sharing network were led to Cheever’s computer, where authorities found thousands of pictures and videos depicting child pornography....
He was prosecuted under the US Department of Justice’s Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative started in 2006 to protect children from exploitation and abuse. The initiative forms a collaborative of local, state, and federal authorities to identify people engaged in child abuse.
