But those sage words were followed by calamitous actions: the horrific images of humiliated prisoners in Abu Ghraib, the lawless incarceration of the innocent with the guilty at Guantanamo, the bombs and missiles that killed innocent civilians - defined as collateral damage - in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Pakistan.

Yup, and the GOD-DAMN HYPOCRITES at the Globe were CHEERING HIM ALONG the WHOLE WAY!!! In fact, they are LYING about a WHOLE OTHER SET of PEOPLE for MORE WARS, namely the Pakistanis and the Iranians!

Obama needs to change the widespread perception that America is at war with Islam as a whole. He is well placed to understand the tensions that jihadist movements are causing within Muslim societies. He will have to show that, in the fight against nihilism hiding under the guise of Islamic purification, America and most Muslim populations are on the same side.
