Pick-Up Game in Thailand

It is the RED SHIRTS vs. the YELLOW SHIRTS!

To see what an absolute lie and cover story the Zionist (I'm sorry to keep saying that, but the shoe fits) MSM gives you, you need to read this first:

"Former Left-Right Alliance against Globalization and America

by Thongchai Winichakul

Article

Almost all Thai rightists I interviewed for my recent research perceived that the threats to Thailand today are capitalism and America. Even lifelong anti-communist ‘Phor’, an alias used for this research, who has tenaciously held the idea of national security being under threat from two strands of communism, sees that Thailand has to be cautious of the CIA interfering and agitating groups of Thai people to the point of being a threat to security. Of course, they were well aware that the threats from capitalism and America are not one and the same as the communist threat.

The rightists’ discourse of capitalist threat obviously differs from the leftists’ Maoist anti-capitalist discourse of 30 years ago. These rightists speak pretty much the same anti-neo-liberalism and anti-globalization language which Thai intellectuals and activists have adopted since after Oct 6, 1976.

Although all the interviews were done years after the 1997 economic crisis, the pain caused by the capitalist crisis was still alive in their memories. Their discourse on the cause of the crisis turned out to be nationalist and against ‘farang’ or western capitalism, pointing to western capitalist giants led by the US bullying emergent smaller capitalist nations. For the ease of digestion and propagation, it was made a story of conspiracy among a handful of global political and financial figures, often including George Soros in particular. The ‘Washington Consensus’ was understood simply as a plot by western capitalist neo-conservatives to destroy smaller states. With the calamity besetting Thai nationalist capital which had eagerly embraced globalization over a decade earlier, globalization has become undesirable. Their discourse against western capitalism was therefore not of a socialist bent, but was outright nationalist, against those ugly farangs abusing decent Thais.

Most of the interviews were done during the years of Thaksin administration which was seen as representing the evil western capitalism, subsequently labelled as ‘vicious or immoral capital’. The exasperation against Thaksin and globalization and the global anti-American sentiment fed into one another. Among the rightists I interviewed then, only one person liked the Thaksin government, and the rest were suspicious of Thaksin because he was pushing the agenda of globalization.

"Thai crisis heightens as government backers rally" by Ambika Ahuja, Associated Press | December 1, 2008

Yes, I know the crowd is big; however, how many were government supporters bussed in? You know, like the disapproving Zionist MSM would say about Syria or some protest somewhere they don't like?

BANGKOK - Government supporters converged on the capital yesterday, in a counter to rival protesters who seized control of Bangkok's two airports and forced the prime minister to run the country from afar. Neither the army nor Thailand's revered king has stepped in to resolve the crisis - or offered the firm backing that Prime Minister Somchai Wongsawat needs to resolve the leadership vacuum.

Yeah, the army knows what happens when you go against ALL the PEOPLE: no water to swim in!!! And you know what happens to a fish when there is no water.

The problem runs deeper than the airport closures, which have stranded up to 100,000 travelers, strangled the key tourism industry, and affected plane schedules worldwide. Political violence has added to the sense of drift bordering on anarchy that pervades the country's administration.

Yup, and ALL the VIOLENCE is coming from the GOVERNMENT SUPPORTERS!! I wish I could say I was surprised at this point, but....

Explosions yesterday hit the prime minister's compound, which protesters from the People's Alliance for Democracy have held since August, an antigovernment television station, and a road near the main entrance to the occupied domestic airport. At least 51 people were injured, officials said. No one claimed responsibility, but Suriyasai Katasila, a spokesman for the protest group, blamed the government.

As WELL HE SHOULD!!!!! There is an INCREDIBLE STENCH coming from those attacks!

Afterward, senior protest leader Chamlong Srimuang met with Bangkok police chief Lieutenant General Suchart Muankaew. The two agreed to have police and protesters jointly patrol protest sites at the prime minister's office and Don Muang domestic airport....

The alliance says it will not give up until Somchai resigns, accusing him of being a puppet of Thaksin Shinawatra, ousted prime minister and the alliance's original target. Thaksin, who is Somchai's brother-in-law, was deposed in a 2006 military coup and has fled the country to escape corruption charges.

Yeah, it was a fake coup, coup!! You know, I don't have time to shovel through layers of scitte like this! Damn double-crosses, double-games, agent-provocateurs, and disinfo agents. You recognize it when you smell it, that's all I know!

Thousands of government supporters wearing red shirts, headbands, and bandanas joined a rally yesterday against the protest alliance. Some danced and clapped to music blaring from loudspeakers. They have adopted red to distinguish themselves from their yellow-garbed rivals.

Yeah, it sounds like a real fun, MSM-approved time. And THAT ought to tell you something right there!! Not "violent" or "unruly" like those antiwar or globalist protesters! If only we could behave more like gays. Well, maybe not.

"This is a movement against anarchical force and the people behind it," government spokesman Nattawut Sai-Kua told the Associated Press. "They want anarchy so that the army is forced to intervene and stage a coup." But the army, which overthrew Thaksin among other previous coups, says it has no plans to oust Somchai. Still, the military's failure to back up Somchai's efforts to restore order give the impression it alone will decide how the situation will be resolved.

Hey, they asked the guy to leave!

Also distancing himself from the crisis has been revered 80-year-old King Bhumibol Adulyadej, who as a constitutional monarch plays no open role in politics but who has healed social fractures in the past. "No one else can fix this. The country is so divided. The only uniting figure we have is the king. If he tells both sides to step back, they will," said 36-year-old coffee shop owner Natta Siritanond....

That must be the ONE GUY! So WTF is with the DAMN LIES in the MSM paper!?

The supporters of the People's Alliance for Democracy are largely middle-class citizens who say Thailand's electoral system is susceptible to vote-buying, and argue that the rural majority in the north and the northeast, the Thaksin camp's political base, is not sophisticated enough to cast ballots responsibly. They have proposed discarding the one-man, one-vote system in favor of appointing most legislators, fostering resentment among rural voters.

Isn't that last paragraph a bunch of rank, stinking, bulls***?

And an INSULTING ONE to Thais, too (which is what i would expect from my racist Zionist War Daily)!!
