Hawaii's Newspaper

As with most everywhere, Hawaiians are likely getting their news from the blogs.

Maybe selling your souls for a seat at the table wasn't worth it, 'eh, media whores?

"State’s biggest paper shuts down

HONOLULU — The Honolulu Star-Bulletin and The Honolulu Advertiser have competed for more than a century. That rivalry ended yesterday when the Advertiser, Hawaii’s largest newspaper, published its last edition. It is being bought and combined with its rival. More than 400 workers are losing their jobs. The Honolulu Star-Advertiser will be launched tomorrow (AP)."
