COLUMBIA, S.C. — A South Carolina lawmaker called a Republican gubernatorial candidate of Indian descent a “raghead’’ Thursday, saying we have one in the White House, we don’t need one in the governor’s mansion.

"Obama to honor Jewish contributions to US culture

WASHINGTON — President Obama and his wife, Michelle, will hold what the White House says will be its first reception in recognition of Jewish American Heritage Month.

The May 27 event will celebrate the depth of Jewish American heritage and the range of contributions Jews have made to American culture.

What, destroying it?

Guests will include community leaders, Olympians, members of Congress, business leaders, scholars, professional athletes, military veterans, and astronauts.

Case closed.

Republican state Senator Jake Knotts later apologized for the slur, saying the remarks about President Obama and state Representative Nikki Haley were meant as a joke.

Do you see me laughing here?

They came on Internet political talk show, Pub Politics. Cohost Phil Bailey said Knotts said: “We’ve already got a raghead in the White House. We don’t need another raghead in the governor’s mansion.’’

OOOOPS!!!!

Haley, who was born a Sikh and describes herself as a Methodist, called it another shameful attack. Endorsed by Sarah Palin and a favorite of the Tea Party movement, she has faced other landmines in her attempt to become the state’s first female governor.

Oh, THANKS for the HELP, establishment Repugs.

In the past two weeks, two men have come forward to say they had trysts with her, which she denies.

Well, all I have to say is THANK GOD they were not GAY TRYSTS.

Her campaign manager Tim Pearson called Knotts “an embarrassment to our state and to the Republican Party.’’

Thus he gets the name he deserves: Repuglican.
