Slow Saturday Special: Crap on China Day

I can see why this first one concerned them:

"China sentences journalist to 15 years" by Associated Press | July 24, 2010

BEIJING — A Chinese court sentenced a Uighur journalist to 15 years in jail yesterday for critical writings and comments he made to foreign media after last year’s deadly ethnic riots in China’s western Xinjiang region, a friend said....

Here they just fire you.

And one must assume he was on the CIA payroll seeing as he made the CIA paper.

Longstanding tensions between Xinjiang’s Uighurs, a largely Muslim ethnic group, and China’s Han Chinese majority flared into open violence in Urumqi in July 2009. The government — which accused overseas Uighur groups of plotting the violence, something they deny — said 197 people were killed.

Which I now view as a CIA provocation to destabilize China's frontiers for the upcoming World War.

Hundreds of people were arrested, about two dozen were sentenced to death and many Uighurs remain unaccounted for and are believed to be in custody.

Sort of like black-site renditions?

Niyaze’s 15-year sentence is among the harshest handed down for someone who committed no violence during last year’s riots or for a Uighur airing dissenting opinions in recent years. Endangering state security is a vaguely worded charge that China’s authoritarian government often uses to silence political critics.

U.S does the same, so WTF?

Obviously, the U.S. will never go down that road.

They will just shut down your blog.

And what do you do when you are covered in s***?

Wash it off!

"Flood pressures massive dam in China" by Associated Press | July 24, 2010

BEIJING — Record-high water levels at China’s massive Three Gorges Dam have called into question Beijing’s claims that the world’s largest hydroelectric project could withstand a 10,000-year flood....

China has promoted the Three Gorges Dam for years as the best way to end centuries of floods along the Yangtze River basin and dismissed complaints about the enormous environmental impact of the $23 billion reservoir that has displaced more than 1.4 million people.

Seven years ago, Chinese officials boasted that the Three Gorges Dam could withstand floods so severe they come only once every 10,000 years. But as the current flooding shows no sign of waning, officials warn that its capacity is limited....

THIS IS IT, readers!!

"Scientist ordered to appear in Ind.; Was arrested in Mass. in economic espionage case" by Jonathan Saltzman, Globe Staff | July 24, 2010

A federal judge has ordered a Westborough scientist moved from a jail in Rhode Island to one in Indiana to face charges that he passed on trade secrets worth more than $100 million about a commercial insecticide developed by Dow Chemical Co. to China, the scientist’s lawyer said yesterday....

US Magistrate Judge Timothy S. Hillman wrote that the evidence against Huang is “strong but not overwhelming.’’

Translation: It's garbage -- or crap, if you will.

The federal indictment against Huang is sealed....

Well then, unseal it and let us get a look at it. A citizen's freedom is at stake.

Dow AgroSciences, a Dow business unit in Indianapolis, issued a statement this week that it is cooperating with an FBI investigation into a “potential violation of our company’s intellectual property rights by a former employee’’ but could not comment further because of the ongoing investigation.

"US support for talks on islands could rankle China" by Mark Landler, New York Times | July 24, 2010

HANOI — Opening a new source of potential friction with China, the United States said yesterday that it was ready to step into a tangled dispute between China and its smaller Asian neighbors over a string of strategically sensitive islands in the South China Sea.

JUST WHAT the REGION NEEDED!

Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, speaking in Vietnam at a meeting of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, or ASEAN, said, “The United States has a national interest in freedom of navigation, open access to Asia’s maritime commons, and respect for international law in the South China Sea.’’

Will someone please lock that lush in a room before she does some real damage?

The United States, she said, was prepared to facilitate multilateral negotiations to settle competing claims over the islands — among them the Spratly and Paracel islands — something sought by Vietnam, which has had deadly clashes with China over them.

Yeah, and China will be right over here to help us sort out our Hawaii and Puerto Rico problems.

Can you IMAGINE the REACTION HERE if China were to INSINUATE themselves into OUR BACKYARDS, America?

In 1988 warships from China and Vietnam traded fire in the Spratly Islands, sinking several Vietnamese boats and killing dozens of sailors.

You know, that is FOR THEM to WORK OUT between THEMSELVES without OUR BIG-ASS AIR CARRIERS and such making an entrance!

China’s maritime ambitions have expanded along with its military and economic muscle.

After a while you get so sick of reading this hypocritical crap, if you don't mind.

It has laid claim to islands in the South China Sea because they are rich in oil and natural gas deposits.

Yeah, SOMEHOW when the USraeli empire invades or occupies such places its no big deal.

And it has put US officials on notice that it will not brook interference in the waters off its southeastern coast, which it views as a “core interest’’ of sovereignty....

Would we, Americans?

Face it, you would be ready to go to war with China for telling you what to do -- and then wonder why the Wal-Mart merchandise is drying up and getting more expensive!

For decades, China has sparred with Southeast Asian nations over control of 200 tiny islands, rocks, and spits of sand that dot these waters. In 1974 China seized the Paracel islands from Vietnam, and in January it announced plans to develop the islands for tourism, ratcheting up tension with Vietnam, which has never recognized China’s territorial claims.

Interesting when you compare it to Israel, Palestine, and Jerusalem, 'eh?

Vietnam’s strategy has been to “internationalize’’ the dispute by bringing in other players and forcing China to negotiate in multilateral forums.

Not good for Israel, though.

Clinton’s announcement that the United States would be willing to play a part was a significant victory for the Vietnamese. But it could irritate US relations with Beijing, which were frayed by the announcement of the joint naval exercises off the Korean Peninsula. Last March, the Chinese government told visiting Obama administration officials that it would not tolerate interference in the South China Sea, an official said.

And here our embarrassing Sec-of-State is DOING JUST THAT!

Clinton’s discussions in Vietnam wrapped up a grueling trip that has been a tour of US wars, past and present — from Afghanistan to the demilitarized zone in South Korea, and finally to Hanoi. Yeah, right, she was "tired."

Then maybe she should take some time off -- permanent-like.

She isn't speaking on my behalf.

In Kabul, she drew a line from the US experience in Korea to the Afghan war, pointing out that success can be elusive for many decades, yet still come.

First they told you 2011, then they told you 2014, and now you find out we are NEVER, EVER LEAVING!!

Americans, we STILL HAVE TROOPS in KOREA!!!

“It’s good to remind ourselves: The United States has stood with countries that went through a lot of ups and downs for a lot longer than eight years,’’ she said....

Hey, now you know where to go get a job, AmeriKans!

Making headstones!

Tensions also flared on a more familiar front, North Korea, with Clinton accusing that country of “provocative, dangerous behavior’’ while a North Korean official threatened a “physical response’’ to joint US-South Korean naval exercises off the Korean Peninsula and Japan this weekend.

"N. Korea warns of ‘nuclear deterrence’ to naval exercises; Clinton says door still open for negotiations" by Bomi Lim and Bill Varner, Bloomberg News | July 24, 2010

Did they really say this, or is the agenda-pushing, war-promoting AmeriKan MSM lying again to cover another false flag job?

HANOI — North Korea said yesterday that it would counter US and South Korean joint naval exercises with “nuclear deterrence’’ after the Obama administration said the government in Pyongyang shouldn’t take any provocative steps.

North Korea will “legitimately counter with their powerful nuclear deterrence the largest-ever nuclear war exercises to be staged by the US and the South Korean puppet forces,’’ the National Defense Commission said, according to the Korean Central News Agency.

The maneuvers, which involve 20 vessels and 200 aircraft from the United States and South Korea, pose a threat to the country’s sovereignty and security, Ri Tong Il, an official with North Korea’s delegation to the Asean Security Forum, said in Hanoi yesterday.

That is sure the way I would see it -- especially in response to the frame job.

Ri’s comments came after North Korea’s foreign minister, Pak Ui Chun, sat in the same room with Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton in Hanoi for a security meeting of Asia’s largest powers. Clinton condemned North Korea for being “on a campaign of provocative, dangerous behavior,’’ urging Kim Jong Il’s regime to change.

Where have we heard that before?

How much do you think she imbibes a day?

Still, the “door remains open for North Korea,’’ Clinton later told reporters. “We are willing to meet with them, willing to negotiate, to move toward normal relations’’ if North Korea commits itself to giving up its nuclear weapons program, she said.

But Israel can keep theirs.

Btw, that door has a bucket of bombs over it, North Koreans.

US State Department spokesman Philip J. Crowley said in Washington that North Korea “would be better served by reflecting on the current situation, not taking any further aggressive actions or provocative steps.’’

Same advice for Israel, right? No attack on Iran?

The United States said this week it will intensify sanctions against North Korea and conduct military exercises with South Korea in waters surrounding the peninsula.

Yeah, that will really help the sick and starving North Koreans.

The USS George Washington, a nuclear-powered carrier, and three destroyers arrived in South Korean ports this week in a show of force.

Seems like OVERKILL to me!

“North Korea may very well go ahead with missile launches or even a third nuclear test to show it won’t bend to US pressure,’’ said Yang Moo Jin, a professor at the University of North Korean Studies in Seoul.

The FALSE FLAG has been STAKED and it's WORLD WAR III dead ahead!!!!!!!

Ri said the George Washington’s presence threatened security on the peninsula, which has been divided for more than half a century. Pak maintained the need for a peace treaty to replace a cease-fire, signed in 1953, to guarantee the peninsula’s security, Ri said.

“It’s no longer the 19th century with gunboat diplomacy,’’ Ri said. “It is a new century and the Asian countries are in need of peace and development.’’

I could NOT AGREE MORE!!!

What we are seeing here are the DEATH THROES of the USraeli Empire!

Japan’s chief cabinet secretary said four naval officers assigned to its Maritime Self-Defense Force will board a US ship as observers for the joint military exercises, scheduled through Wednesday in the sea between South Korea and Japan.
