Haiti Has to Help Herself

I can't help but wonder where the outpouring of aid and promi$e$ went....

Dr. Paul Farmer, the charismatic founder of Boston-based Partners in Health, invoked the strategies the United States used during the Great Depression as a model for creating jobs -- clear rubble, rebuild, and expand health services -- in Haiti, a nation whose needs remain acute six months after the earthquake that sundered much of the capital city, Port-au-Prince, and laid waste to nearly all federal government buildings....

Yeah, nothing has been cleaned up, the refugee tents have seen flooding, and there is no rebuilding.
