ASUNCION — President Fernando Lugo has been diagnosed with cancer but his prognosis is good, doctors said yesterday. Physicians found non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in a growth they removed from Lugo’s groin last week. The cancer affects the lymphocytes, or white blood cells. Lugo will probably have to undergo chemotherapy every three weeks, but his doctors said the cancer is curable (AP)."
