Terrorists to Attack Boston T Tunnels This Week

I thought it would be the safest way to get into the city after the bike experience, but....

"Tests look at flow of gases in subway; Scientists study how toxins would spread in an attack" by Travis Andersen, Globe Staff | August 21, 2010

Scientists working with the US Department of Homeland Security kicked off a weeklong experiment yesterday in which they are releasing nontoxic gases and particles into Boston’s subway system to see how contaminants might spread during a terror attack or other emergency.

What, are you guys PLANNING SOMETHING soon!?

Transit and homeland security officials were on hand yesterday afternoon for the release of the gases and particles at the Park Street subway station on the Red Line, while curious T riders looked on....

Scientists will release the odorless gas and particles in more than 20 stations and subway cars over the next week, “covering the entirety of the underground portion’’ of the train system, the department said.

While gauging the effect of a potential attack is the main priority, the study will also help researchers learn more about the “airflow characteristics’’ of smoke and accidental spills of chemicals and fuels, the department said. In addition, the study will assist in the design of new chemical and biological agent detection systems, according to the statement.

I wonder who hold$ tho$e contract$.

Scientists conducted phase one of the Boston study in December. Teresa Lustig, program manager for the DHS Science and Technology Directorate, said yesterday that the similar study was conducted in the Washington subway in 2007 and 2008.

She said that when scientists release gas and particles on subway cars this week, they will be escorted by Transit Police, who will be able to explain to riders that the experiment is sanctioned by the government and safe.

That is not going to convince anyone!

This is the SAME GOVERNMENT that "sanctions" lies as press releases!

“So if someone has a concern, there’s an official there to explain what’s going on,’’ she said....

Pffft!

Juliana Rozeboom, 26, of Cambridge, said on the Red Line platform that she expects some of her fellow T riders to become alarmed.

“I would say that people are just going to freak out about it, because that’s what they do,’’ Rozeboom said, adding that she supports the experiment.

Make sure you sig heil even if you are sick.

Another Cambridge resident, Melvin McCollin, 66, said he also thinks that the study is a good idea. “I don’t have a problem with it,’’ he said....

I'm just going to give up on you then, Boston.

Have a fun ride in this morning.

Scientists are releasing gases that have been used in similar experiments since the 1960s, DHS said.

But they would never do that now!

They just lie about everything else.

Biological Warfare and the National Security State

But NOTHING HARMFUL, trust us!

The gases and other particles have been used for tasks as varied as eye surgery, laundry detergents, paper manufacturing, and medical imaging, according to the statement.

Yeah, all harmless says the government.

Researchers from five institutions are working on the study, including the Defense Science and Technology Laboratory in the United Kingdom and the Chemistry Center of Australia.

This whole thing stinks even if you can't smell anything.

Transit Police Chief Paul MacMillan said in a statement that the study will help ensure patrons’ safety.

“Our customers and employees should know that the MBTA is working closely with our federal partners in order to make the transit system as safe as possible,’’ MacMillan said.

So what is with all the false-flag terrorism and framed patsies then?

Yeah, and let's hope we don't have a burn-out!

"Outages disable MBTA Red, Orange lines

An hours-long series of power outages yesterday on the MBTA’s Red and Orange lines caused delays, stranded trains, and disabled all communications between central command and employees on subways, spokeswoman Lydia Rivera said. Trains were stuck for approximately 20 to 25 minutes during the outages, she said, which affected the two lines from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. However, some passengers reported longer delays. Christopher Motta, 28, of Dorchester, said the train he was on stayed in a Red Line tunnel between Andrew and JFK/UMass stations for about 70 minutes.

Are you frikkin' kidding?

Motta said a T employee asked over the train’s intercom to borrow a passenger’s cellphone to call headquarters because the agency forbids operators to carry their own phones.

Because of all that text s***, right?

Without power to the train, T employees have no way to communicate with central command, Rivera acknowledged. Although traffic signals and some trains remained functional during the outages, some train operators kept still because they could not get clearance from headquarters, Rivera said. The cause of the outage is under investigation, Rivera said.

My bet: neglect.

Maybe it will even be a dirty bomb in the tunnel:

"US conducts antiterrorism drill at MIT; Theft of radioactive material is feared" by Bryan Bender, Globe Staff | August 20, 2010

WASHINGTON — US counterterrorism officials held an exercise at MIT yesterday to better prepare local authorities to respond to the potential theft of radioactive material, part of a series of security enhancements federal officials are putting in place at facilities across the region that are considered vulnerable to terrorists seeking weapons of mass destruction.

Led by the Department of Energy and the FBI, the exercise involved a fictitious scenario in which terrorists tried to steal cobalt, a highly radioactive substance that is used in hospitals to irradiate blood, but could also be used to make a so-called dirty bomb to spread deadly radiation....

So when does Israel and the CIA let one loose in an American city, MSM?

The security enhancements, which are voluntary, include installing biometric scanners to control access to the materials; closed-circuit television cameras to monitor supplies; motion detectors; and special kits that can alert authorities if the radioactive materials are obtained by unauthorized persons.

$ome one is going to make a pile of money!

The steps are funded by the Department of Energy’s Global Threat Reduction Initiative, established to help secure vulnerable nuclear materials around the world.

Yup, the war on terror spread across all departments, sig heil!

The program places new emphasis on protecting radioactive materials in the United States; the Obama administration is proposing to increase the budget for domestic efforts 10-fold next year to more than $300 million.

All over a bunch of frikkin' lies!

Yup, they get an increase while SERVICES take a CUT!

Yesterday’s training exercise at MIT was part of a series called Silent Thunder. It is designed to examine federal, state, and local authorities’ ability to respond to terrorist incidents involving weapons of mass destruction.

Rehearsal for the next false-flag attack!

The security of nuclear materials at MIT has long been a concern for some specialists. Its research reactor is one of a few left in the United States that uses highly enriched uranium, the most radioactive form that can be used to make a nuclear weapon....

You mean the kind Iran can not have?

Yesterday’s exercise in Cambridge had two parts. The first focused on ways to detect and deter a terrorist from obtaining radioactive materials and the second forced officials to think about how they would respond in the event of an attack using radioactive materials or another weapon of mass destruction.

Like I said, training for the next false flag attack.

And if you want to detect and deter you can tell the FBI to stop arming them through informants.

“The purpose of these exercises is to get all the key players together around a table to practice going through the kind of crisis management and emergency response scenarios that could come up in a real world emergency, to make sure we get the kinks worked out in advance,’’ said Damien LaVera, a spokesman for the National Nuclear Security Administration, an arm of the Department of Energy....

So WHEN is the ATTACK?

Next month?

More wasted money at MIT:

"9 Mass. centers share $55.5m in grants; MIT leads list with $15m, tied for tops in US" by Stephen Smith, Globe Staff | May 15, 2010

Scientists at nine Massachusetts research centers were awarded $55.5 million in federal stimulus grants yesterday to pay for new labs and equipment and, at one hospital, renovations so that hulking imaging machines can be shielded from trolley electrical lines that scrambled pictures....

The $1 billion in stimulus grants parceled out yesterday by the National Institutes of Health come at an especially crucial moment for hospitals and universities that have seen endowments wither, donors dwindle, and student aid demands grow as the economy tumbled.

But the wars, Wall Street, and Israel always get plenty of money.

Institutions pursuing federal money had to show that their projects were scientifically worthy and that construction designs conformed with increasingly stringent environmental standards....

Unless it is for the military, of course.
