"Ron Paul wins GOP straw poll" by Associated Press / June 19, 2011

NEW ORLEANS — Representative Ron Paul of Texas won the presidential straw poll at the Republican Leadership Conference yesterday.

Gee, I didn't even know he was speaking there. I saw who wasn't, and four of the five who were.

The perennial libertarian candidate won 612 votes from the gathering of party elders, grass-roots activists, and donors. Coming in second place was former Utah governor Jon Huntsman with 382 votes. Representative Michele Bachmann of Minnesota, a Tea Party favorite, collected 191 votes. Former pizza executive Herman Cain won 104 votes and former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney skipped the event and picked up 74 votes. Former House speaker Newt Gingrich got 69 votes."

What that tells you is the AMERICAN PEOPLE are FOR HIM!

Fully a THIRD of REPUBLICANS ARE (I expect to see rigged voting machines drop him into single digits again), and his message would certainly make a reelection bid by Obomber a real struggle.

Getting us into more wars as the economy continues to crap out for most is not a winning formula anytime.
