That's the agenda:
"Iraqi militants explode bomb, storm government compound; Six killed in latest assault targeting protected sites" by Rebecca Santana and Sameer N. Yacoub, Associated Press / June 15, 2011
BAGHDAD — Assailants set off a suicide car bomb and stormed a government compound in a complex attack yesterday, killing six people in a former Sunni insurgent stronghold northeast of Baghdad.
The morning attack in Baqouba matched a growing series of assaults in Iraq this year, where insurgents strike government compounds and buildings, hoping to undermine support for the Baghdad administration by showing that even their most protected facilities are not safe. On Monday a suicide bomber struck a police headquarters in Basra, killing five and wounding 15.
The attack on Baqouba, 35 miles northeast of Baghdad, deepened concerns that the Iraqi security forces cannot protect the country once the remaining 47,000 US forces leave at the end of the year....
A US military patrol that happened to be in the neighborhood joined the search of the building and later helped establish a security perimeter at the scene, the US military said. American military helicopters also provided air surveillance to Iraqi forces....

"Paired car bombs kill 24 in Iraq; Typically peaceful provincial city hit in latest attack" June 22, 2011|By Aziz Alwan and Tim Craig, Washington Post
BAGHDAD — At least 24 people were killed early yesterday in south-central Iraq when two car bombs detonated at a heavily fortified government compound in Diwaniyah Province, a predominantly Shi’ite area that until now had largely escaped the violence that continues to grip the country, underscoring how even well-guarded facilities in Iraq remain vulnerable to attack.
And you know what that means, America. Stick and stay -- when asked.
Such twin bombings have become the hallmark for insurgents seeking to inflict mass casualties on first responders and Iraqi army units....
That is Amerikan mediaspeak for a western intelligence operation.
Diwaniyah is about 80 miles south of Baghdad. Unlike many other areas of Iraq, local officials say, there have been relatively few attacks on Iraqis there in the years following the US-led invasion in 2003.
And then all of a sudden while we are on our way out?
But insurgents and terror groups have been stepping up attacks on federal and local government facilities across the country, underscoring the perilous state of security — for both Iraqis and US soldiers — as American forces prepare to withdraw by Dec. 31.
Then they must be the dumbest terrorists ever known to give us a reason to stick around.
Wouldn't a smart terrorist at least let us spend all that money leaving and then raise hell so we would have to spend more going back in?
So far in June, nine US soldiers have been killed in Iraq, making it already the second-deadliest month for American forces since November 2009. Eleven troops were killed in April, according to icasualties.org.
Then it is TRULY TIME to GET OUT before we lose ONE MORE MAN to this DEBACLE BASED on LIES!
In another attack last week in Baqubah in north-central Iraq, nine people were killed when armed men briefly overtook the Diyala Provincial Council building. It took Iraqi security officials, who were backed by US troops and Army helicopters, more than an hour to end the siege.
Message: we simply can't leave.
In both that case and in yesterday’s bombings in Diwaniyah, local officials said they suspect Al Qaeda in Iraq or one of its affiliates to be responsible.
Yeah, me, too.
Elsewhere, in Musayab in Babel Province in southern Iraq, at least two people were killed and eight others wounded when an explosion tore though a cafe yesterday, according to Iraqi security officials.
Another false flag.
Baghdad was also hit with several bombings yesterday morning, which followed multiple explosions there on Monday....
Yeah, things are going just great.

"40 dead, scores hurt as 4 bombs rock Baghdad; US educator also killed in separate attack" June 24, 2011|By Rebecca Santana, Associated Press
BAGHDAD — Four bombs ripped through Shi’ite neighborhoods in Baghdad yesterday evening, killing at least 40 people in the worst violence the capital has seen in months, Iraqi officials said. An American civilian aid specialist working to improve education in Iraq was killed in a separate attack.
The violence underscored the fragile nature of the security gains in Iraq at a time when American forces are preparing to withdraw by the end of this year. It also highlighted the challenges facing the State Department personnel and American contractors who would stay on after the US military is gone.
The first three bombs went off in quick succession in a southwestern Baghdad neighborhood shortly after 7 p.m. One targeted a Shi’ite mosque, another exploded just outside a popular market, while the third went off inside the market where people were doing evening shopping ahead of the Muslim weekend, Iraqi police officials said....
I don't believe even the most pious "Al-CIA-Duh" would do that.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility, but Sunni extremists such as Al Qaeda in Iraq generally tend to target Shi’ite mosques and neighborhoods and Iraqi security forces....
Given all the lies we have been told all these years why should I believe the government mouthpiece and its modern-day Emmanuel Goldstein?

"As leaders feud, Iraqi government is paralyzed" by Michael S. Schmidt, New York Times / June 26, 2011
BAGHDAD — The country’s two most powerful politicians refuse to speak to each other.
The paralysis is contributing to a rise in violence, and it is complicating negotiations on the most difficult and divisive question hanging over the country: Whether to ask the United States to keep a contingency force here after the scheduled withdrawal of American troops at the end of the year.
Didn't it say above that State and "contractors" were staying anyway?
The longer the deadlock persists, the harder it becomes for the US military to reverse or slow the withdrawal....
I love gridlock!
As the deadlock grinds on, political assassinations and attacks on US bases have increased significantly....
Does that makes sense to you?
Only benefits those who WANT TO STAY, doesn't it?

For the record, I never wanted to go in, wanted out yesterday, and want war crimes trials for the liars that brought us this.

"Bomber in wheelchair kills 3 in Iraq" by Associated Press / June 27, 2011
BAGHDAD — A suicide bomber in a wheelchair blew himself up at the entrance to a police station north of the city yesterday, killing three people and wounding 18, officials said....
The head of the Tarmiyah city council, Qassim Khalifa, said the bomber went to the police station saying he needed a letter from the police certifying he had been maimed in a terror attack. Iraqis who have been disabled from a bombing or shooting can receive compensation from the government if their injuries are documented. “Police inspected him but not very carefully as he was handicapped or pretending to be handicapped, so they let him go inside the police reception area where the blast occurred,’’ he said.
Also yesterday, two American troops were killed in northern Iraq while conducting operations, the US military said.
Gee, I WAS TOLD COMBAT OPERATIONS were OVER!!
The names of the dead are being withheld pending notification of relatives. The deaths bring to 4,465 the number of American troops who have died in Iraq. Eleven Americans died in combat there so far this month.
All for lies -- not to mention the MILLIONS of IRAQIS!
Hey, maybe you can get a flagpole named after you.
In Baghdad, security authorities were out in force to protect Shi’ite pilgrims converging from around the country to commemorate the death of Imam Moussa al-Kadhim, a revered Shi’ite figure. Predominantly Sunni militants often target the pilgrims as they are walking to and from the shrine where Kadhim is buried.
Meanwhile, an Iraqi court has sentenced the wife of a slain Al Qaeda leader to 20 years in prison on terrorism-related charges, an Iraqi judicial spokesman said. Hasna Ali Yahya, the Yemeni wife of Abu Ayyub al-Masri, was convicted of facilitating correspondence between insurgents and preparing explosive-laden belts.
