Hunting For a Candidate in the Boston Globe

You know who I am looking for, readers.

"On foreign policy, Huntsman has expressed support for withdrawing troops from Afghanistan quickly and has criticized Obama for intervening in Libya....

Yeah, but where's he stand on Israel?

Nope, not him.

Not this guy, either:

"Romney planning to raise cash while his rivals roam Iowa; Topping GOP field, he can risk a trip to London" by Matt Viser, Globe Staff / June 24, 2011

WASHINGTON — Mitt Romney is planning to travel to London next month for a fund-raiser in one of the banking capitals of the world, soliciting campaign contributions from well-connected Americans abroad as he attempts to expand his fund-raising base across the Atlantic.

It is a rare step for a presidential candidate — and unheard of so early in a campaign — and is yet another indication of his front-runner status, his overwhelming fund-raising strength, and his desire to have a statesman’s reach.

The fact that he is choosing to begin the next fund-raising quarter in a foreign capital also illustrates his current strategic focus of raising hordes of campaign cash rather than making the normally required appearances in Veterans of Foreign Wars halls and small-town diners.

In fact, the former governor of Massachusetts will have spent more time around Westminster than he has in Waterloo, Iowa....

London is rich with Americans in the securities and investment industries....

Among those who are co-chairing the event are hedge-fund manager Louis Bacon; Raj Bhattacharyya, managing director at Deutsche Bank; Woody Johnson, owner of the New York Jets; and former lieutenant governor Kerry Healey and her husband, Sean....

"Bill by Frank, Paul allows marijuana legalization

WASHINGTON — Representatives Ron Paul, a Texas Republican who is seeking his party’s presidential nomination, and Barney Frank, a Massachusetts Democrat, are expected to introduce legislation today that would allow states to legalize marijuana.

We know why Barney is backing it!

The measure would let states regulate, tax, and control marijuana without federal interference, according to the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws.

“The legislation would limit the federal government’s role in marijuana enforcement to cross-border or inter-state smuggling, allowing people to legally grow, use or sell marijuana in states where it is legal,’’ the statement said.

Paul, who serves with Frank on the House Financial Services Committee, has long favored legalizing drugs as part of his libertarian message of limited government. A spokeswoman for his office was not immediately available for comment....

I favor it because it is common sense.

Of course, it was underneath some hot fart mist:

In a 7,000-word essay posted online yesterday by Rolling Stone magazine, Gore said the president hasn’t stood up for “bold action’’ on the problem and has done little to move the country forward since he replaced Republican George W. Bush.

Bush infuriated environmentalists by resisting mandatory controls on the pollution blamed for climate change, despite overwhelming scientific evidence that the burning of fossil fuels is at least partly responsible. The scientific case has only gotten stronger since, Gore argues....

What a sickening and delusional pos.
