"British teachers, civil servants plan a one-day strike; Public employees face pay freezes and pension cuts" by Associated Press / June 16, 2011

LONDON — Hundreds of thousands of British teachers and civil servants will go on strike later this month, unions said yesterday — the latest in a wave of walkouts by workers facing frozen salaries and shrinking pensions....

Another group, the Public and Commercial Services Union, said 250,000 of its members would hold a 24-hour strike the same day. The union represents a wide array of public sector staff, including border guards, tax officials, and court workers.

Britain’s public sector workers are facing job losses, pay freezes, and cuts to once-generous pensions.

The government says everyone must share the pain as it cuts $130 billion from public spending to reduce the huge deficit, swollen after Britain spent billions bailing out banks....

I notice the government has PLENTY of MONEY for the WARS in Libya and Afghanistan.

Cabinet Office minister Francis Maude said that the government was still negotiating with unions over pension changes and that going on strike now would be a “big mistake.’’

Opponents claim the government’s austerity measures risk sending the country backward into a double-dip recession, and unions say that with inflation over 4 percent, workers are suffering....

Meaning England never came out of the Grand Depression, either.

But forget all about that; there are "terrorists" to catch.

"Al Qaeda leader had plotted British targets" by Associated Press / June 17, 2011

LONDON — British officials have said they see Al Qaeda affiliates in the Horn of Africa and the Arabian Peninsula as being a significant threat to British interests....

Yeah, well, which "Al-CIA-Duh" would that be, huh?

The made-up "Al-CIA-Duh?"

Or the "Al-CIA-Duh" CREATION for the COURTROOM!?

It was not exactly clear how officials found the information on the British targets.

PFFFFFFTT!

There was no immediate evidence to suggest that Mohammed was working with British contacts or that he even understood where some of the intended targets were....

Translation: This is all bullshit.
