Working Fastly and Furiously On Mexican Post

"The botched gun trafficking case known as Operation Fast and Furious.... the tactic of “gun walking’’ - allowing guns to remain on the street, rather than swiftly interdicting them, in order to build a bigger case....

Yeah, and if you can get over the corpses.... SIGH!!!

The End of American Justice

Over two years ago.

"49 bodies found on Mexico roadway" Associated Press, May 14, 2012

MONTERREY, Mexico - Forty-nine decapitated and mutilated bodies were found Sunday dumped on a highway connecting the northern Mexican metropolis of Monterrey to the US border in what could be the latest outburst in an escalating war among drug gangs.

That should put the death toll over, what, 47,000?  Or over 50,000, and WTF? Why is the AmeriKan media low-balling the carnage?

At least it wasn't guns we gave 'em, 'eh?

Mexico’s organized crime groups often abandon multiple bodies in public places to warn their rivals, though Nuevo Leon state Attorney General Adrian de la Garza said he did not rule out the possibility that the victims were US-bound migrants....

Nuevo Leon state security spokesman Jorge Domene said at a news conference that a banner left at the site had a message with the Zetas drug cartel taking responsibility for the massacre....

Related: Mexican Oil Siphoning Story Stinks

Honestly, it's like all the other stories I see in my paper.

Mexican drug cartels have been waging a bloody war to control smuggling routes, the local drug market, and extortion rackets, including shakedowns of migrants trying to reach the United States.

A drug gang aligned with the Sinaloa cartel left 35 bodies at a freeway overpass in the city of Veracruz in September, and police found 32 other bodies, apparently killed by the same gang, days later.

Officials last year found 183 bodies in mass graves in the town of San Fernando. They were believed to have been killed by the Zetas drug cartel.

--more--"

The problem with the "drug war" is that it is intelligence agencies that are the biggest drug-runners with the black profits helping to fund black operations, and laundering all the loot are grateful banks that can then boost their bottom lines.

But don't take my word for it; investigate the mischief for yourself.

More mystery:

"The wife of a yachtsman killed with two others during a race between California and Mexico said Monday that her husband was a veteran sailor and the destruction of their boat is a mystery....

--more--"
