"Exotic lizard believed stolen from Mass. store
An exotic lizard valued at $170 has gone missing from Berkshire County pet store and the owner thinks it was stolen. Tony Cormier of Exotic Pet World said the orange-eyed crocodile skink was taken either late Tuesday or early Wednesday. The store’s co-owner noticed that one of the store’s two skinks was missing as she was cleaning their cage. Cormier told The Berkshire Eagle that the cage was not locked, but he is now thinking of installing security cameras. Skinks can grow as big as 10 inches. They like a cool, moist environment and eat worms and insects."
Maybe someone let it out.
