"Police say New Bedford student threw chair at teacher
A New Bedford High School student has been charged with throwing a chair at a teacher who confiscated his cellphone. Kemar Omar Roselus, 18, was charged with assault by means of a dangerous weapon on a person over 60, disturbing the school, and malicious destruction of personal property, authorities said. The March 24 incident was caught on video by another student. The chair did not hit the teacher. School officials said they are disturbed, especially because they did not learn about the chair-throwing incident until a week after it happened. Roselus was suspended when school officials found out."
