"Vt. State Police say drugs smuggled into prison on baby
A couple attempted to smuggle drugs into the Marble Valley Correctional Facility by attaching them to a baby, Vermont State Police said. Authorities said that during their investigation they learned that inmate Gregory Munukka, 26, contacted his girlfriend, Michelle Doaner, 25, about obtaining buprenorphine for him. State Police said they decided the drug would be attached to their 1-year-old child so Munukka could receive the drugs on a scheduled visit to the prison on March 31. Prison officials searched Munukka afterward and found drugs. New York Child Protective Services have been notified. Munukka is charged with narcotics possession."
