BANDA ACEH, Indonesia — An Indonesian woman who was gang-raped by men accusing her of having extramarital sex may be caned publicly for violating Islamic law, an official said Wednesday.
The 25-year-old widow said she was raped by eight men who allegedly found her with a married man in her house. The men reportedly beat the man, doused the two with sewage, and then turned them over to Islamic police in conservative Aceh province.

The head of Islamic Sharia law in the district, Ibrahim Latief, said his office has recommended the widow and the married man be caned nine times for violating religious law, pending an investigation. Its preliminary finding was that the two were about to have sex, but Latief contended they violated Sharia law by being in the same room together. He said they also admitted they had sex earlier.
Indonesia, the world’s most populous Muslim nation of 240 million people, has a policy of secularism but allows Aceh, a predominantly Muslim province on the northern tip of Sumatra, to implement a version of Sharia Islamic law....
While not wanting to minimize the alleged brutality here or defend rape in any way, it just feels like more Muslim-hating, war-promoting, arbitrarily-focused effort by my jew$media. So many articles, day after day, Muslim terrorists in one form or fashion, on and on, and when they play the mistreating their women card you know the agenda pu$hing is in full flower.

What I can't figure out is why this is not getting as much coverage or concern as Nigerian girls. No threats of invading to save them, nothing.
Beyond that, there is this whole question regarding the epidemic of rapes in the AmeriKan military and college campuses (so I am told), along with hunger and poverty at home and the issue of drone strikes killing women and children abroad. This whole "we gotta save 'em by killing 'em and taking over their natural resources for their own benefit" bit has gotten old.
Oh, one more thing: you women have to pay more four health care. That is how much the US government and the Obama administration care about women. Maybe you should just forgive the president for his "inaccurate promise" like his bloody victims are surely forgiving his inaccurate drone strikes.
