"Bail set in assault on MMA fighter’s wife
Bail was set at $25,000 cash at a dangerousness hearing held Tuesday for a mixed martial arts fighter from Middleborough who is accused of beating his wife, according to the office of Plymouth District Attorney Timothy J. Cruz. Joshua Grispi, 25, was indicted Oct. 9 by a Plymouth County grand jury on charges including witness intimidation, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, animal cruelty, and gun and drug charges after allegedly having his bull terrier attack his wife, Cruz’s office said. Under conditions set forth at Tuesday’s dangerousness hearing in Plymouth Superior Court, Grispi must stay away from his wife, according to Cruz’s office."
