Boston police are asking the public to help them identify a man who may be connected to two break-ins in the Mission Hill area on Monday.
The individual, who was described by police as a “person of interest,” is a 6-foot black male of medium build with a “scruffy beard.” He was seen wearing a black baseball hat, navy shirt, faded blue jeans, and white sneakers, and carrying a backpack, police said....

Boston police are asking for the public’s help to identify a man suspected of attacking a female walking in Mission Hill early in the morning of July 4.
The victim told investigators she was wearing headphones and walking home alone at about 2:30 a.m. when the man came up behind her, knocked her to the ground, and tried to drag her behind a building.
The victim managed to break free and called police, Boston police said in a statement.
The incident occurred near the intersection of Colburn Street and Huntington Avenue in Mission Hill, the statement said.
The victim told police the suspect was a Hispanic or Middle Eastern male in his 20s with a thin build, short hair, and standing somewhere between 5 feet 9 and 5 feet 11.
She described him wearing a black, short-sleeve shirt, dark navy jeans, and black, wire-rim glasses, the statement said.
Anyone with information can call detectives....
